Death Star vs Unicorn goes to the Death Star, unless the unicorn knows how to fly an X-wing.

Depends on the length of the horn.

    Otherwise, the Deathstar.

That size page I saw a while back had Unicron about a billion times bigger than the Death Star. I'd have to go with whatever Unicron is.

It all depends on your enemy. The Death Star can't withstand a small, one-man fighter and a Proton Torpedo up the right shaft, and all you need to defeat Unicron is the Autobot Matrix.

Is it the Death Star I or II?

If its the second I'm guessing it would win, it can fire that superlaser dozens of times.

    Close-range: Unicron

    Long-range: Death Star

So it also depends which can go fastest.

    The Death Star has hyperdrive.

    Unicron doesn't seem to.

Can the Death Star fire in hyperdrive?

A giant transformer that has the ability to rip apart planets, and consume them.

If the Death Star could get far enough, it could blast Unicron's head. But it doesn't need it's head, does it?

Unicron the consumer of planets would have no trouble devouring something the size of a small moon. It's Orson Wells for Christ's Sake.

The DeathStar could pull off the Picard Manuever though.

See, they could warp, use the super laser, warp, use the super laser... rinse, wash, and repeat.

I'm not sure, because one of the reasons the superlaser took so long to fire in the Battle of Yavin was because of the all the moving the DS had to do to get to Yavin IV.

That's b/c it had to orbit around the planet. In open space, I think they could pull it off.

I believe microjumps into hyperspace are considered risky, and as such are not done in the SW universe. Besides, all superweapons have to be slow and ungainly so the hero has enough time to destroy it through an unnecessarily complex plan.
