Ho ho ho. Come one, come all to our place for the December meeting and annual holiday party. FF and I are happy to host it and it will be Saturday the 17th with festivities starting at 2 pm. PM me if you need address/directions.

We will have our usual white elephant gift exchange (cost of gift around $10, if you'd like to participate), it will be the last day of voting for RMFF council positions and will be a potluck.

The potluck, since I love the meal so much, will be a breakfast potluck. Bring bacon...bring sausage...bring donuts...bring quiche, whatever breakfasty dish you'd like. If possible, please bring it cooked as I'll be grilling up pancakes and eggs, which will take up some stove/griddle space.

    See everybody then!

Blah, blah, blah, no live gifts, blah, blah, blah....when did this group become so elitist! [face_shame_on_you] There will come a day when fluffy's sacrifice will be vindicated.....but for now, he remains RMFF's first martyr for social justice!

Thanks for hosting guys! Can't wait for xmas brkfst!

    Yes, they are wrapped/bagged. :)

I may not make it to this. There's a going-to-be-four-year-old who wants me at her birthday party at the same time in Springs....

The kitchen may be fairly occupied, so if you could make any part of that ahead of time, that would be fabulous. Thanks!

WOW! AL and I have a major troop in Ft. Collins that day, then the company party that evening. I've sent PM for address, but if you're between Ft. Collins and Aurora I might be able to swing by for an hour or two (but not much more). I have some maple syrup I can bring (don't have time that weekend to cook anything).

No promises. If you don't like your White Bantha gift, you can stick it in the "Oven of Doom" (trademark pending).

I'm sure your students will make a dish worthy of your teachings. Then again, having them make grilled cheeses from your curriculum, may not be appropriate for the party.

Any idea on what time you guys might actually do the gift exchange? Angel's B-Day Party is that day between 2 and 4 so we will not be there til after 5 I imagine. If you guys are doing it after that time, I will bring something, if not, then I won't. just need to know before I spend any money.

    Thanks! [face_batting]

Back in the day, White Elephant was exchanging gifts you got but didn't want. No one "bought" gifts. It was a way to recycle unwanted small gifts (of course, if anyone wanted to recycle a big gift, like a 52" flatscreen TV, that was OK too). So, I say let's all look into our closets, basements, and attics to find those still wrapped gifts (or the unwrapped one you got last year). I for one just can't afford to spend any more money. I'll bring a bag of cool stuff, but I have to leave about 4:30pm for the evening event (three events in one day! I am such a social butterfly!).

Usually we eat...meeting...gift exchange. I'm guessing you'll walk in during the exchange. I'll have an extra present you can use in case you make it in time.
