Anyone know the date BBY of the deaths of these two Jedi Master? I know that Depa died first, but i really need the date BBY. It's somewhere between 22 BBY and 19 BBY. Where?

Well, from the info we have, it would be at 19 BBY if it happens there... We actually don't have any solid proof that she's dead, at least, I don't think so. She's still just hanging there, not even awake at all, as of RotS, last info we had. What the Sith did with her - likely just killed her; she's pretty much useless - is not actually known, though.

As for when she was knocked out of commission, it was 6 mo ABG, which would still be at 22 BBY (but +6 mo).

Oppo Rancissis died on Saleucami at the hands of Sora Bulq about one-three weeks before Revenge of the Sith.

    DEPA ISN'T DEAD.

Sorry.... I'm just hoping against hope they keep her alive in the EU... she was always one of my favorite Jedi...

Bulq killed Oppo as stated above..

Depa's final fate is unknown, as is Kar Vastor's [face_devil] however I believe them both dead.. however, I do also believe that they made a bunch of the 501st and Anivader have a very bad day when they got down that far :)

Anyone ever theorize that she might come back as a Dark Side adept? Seems to me she'd be ripe for picking.

She'd be to old to appear in the LotF series, but maybe like a cameo is something in the RotS-RotJ time frame.

I'd worship the author who puts her back in the EU.

Have her in stasis or something, that way she isn't extremely old, and have Luke or one of his Jedi find her in some secret hideout that used to belong to Palpatine. It would be very cool if they integrated a Jedi actually seen in the movies into the NJO, and Depa sounds like someone that would fit in quite well with them.

Depa's mind is GONE. They shouldn't bring her back. Vastor, however, is another beast entirely. I want to see how Vader/Sidious deals with him!

hmmm... Depa's body is still alive out there - what if the emperor tried to shift his soul into her body? or use her to give birth to some of his dark side minions (can comatose women have normal pregnancies?)

or.. what if Callista found Depa's body and hopped into it - yay, i got shiny force powers back.. boo, i'm over the hill... and luke's married to someone else...

Well if im right here lies a problematic contradiction:

So when Depa went into a coma, Obi took her place(when she died isnt me issue at this point). One of you said this was 6 months ABG, right. Right. Well, 6 mo ABG is also 21.5 BBY, right? Well then Obi took her place in 21.5 BBY too.

    http://www.starwars.com/clonewars/explore/timeline/

This shows that BoH(Battle of Hypori) was 21.7, okay. Well, after BoH they go to a scene(Clone Wars Chp. 21) and Obi is there...not Depa. Remember time goes backwards ppl, 21.5 BBY comes after 21.7 BBY. How could she have not been on the council at this time if she didnt leave the council until 0.2 BBY later?

    Huh...

Well I may need to calculate a bit more. I need to know:

-When exactly 00.00 BBY did Obi join the council...

-When was it considered 00.00 BBY Depa left the council?(In my prievious statement I considered her departure from the council as when she went into a coma, not her transfer to the dark side, so that staement might be faulty. Hehe, just thought of that...)

The Council has shown a practice of temporary, "stand in" Council memberships in the past (as marked by the precedent of Ki-Adi-Mundi for Micah Giett prior to the Yinchorri Conflicts). So, perhaps Obi-Wan was a stand in for her? I mean, given her absence from the Council while building up the indigenous resistance movement on Haruun Kal and her subsequent madness/coma, couldn't the Council have sought a stand in for her before her official vacancy of the seat?

    It's an option, s'all I'm sayin'.

Not exactly sure, but Obi-Wan may have had an interim position, because Depa was deployed under deep cover in Shatterpoint. Like, so deep that Mace was concerned, but not that much when they hadn't heard from her in a month. And she was inserted on Haruun Kal at a point no later than 3 mo ABG, if I recall correctly. Certainly her seat would have been open for an interim Council-member by the time we have Obi-Wan on the Council at 5 ABG.

A thought, yes, but once Depa did leave the council she never returned so your opinion(true or not) is irrelevant. Good work I need everyone posting ideas....

She was officially kicked off 6 months after the clone wars began. That would be around 22 BBY.

She was in a comic recently and still alive (in a coma) 17 months after the clone wars began.

Obi-Wan was a full-time member of the Council. Although they never explain when Obi-Wan actually was appointed. Probably around the time Anakin was made a knight. I would guess that Depa was put out of her misery by Anakin or the clones during the Temple attack.

I do know that Obi-Wan joined the council in place of Depa a short time before Anakin was promoted to Jedi Knight...

Didn't Shatterpoint happen only a few months into the the war, like six months? Anakin became a knight about two years later so her seat had to have been filled long ago.

Ignore the TOS Clone Wars Timeline- it's fairly inaccurate due to it's chocie of limited decimal points, restricting accurate representation of the 12-month calendar dates withina 10-month calendar system

Hypori happened 4 months ABG. Shatterpoint happened 6 months ABG and the council chamber scenes of Clone Wars Chapter 21 jump forward to 30 months ABG.

I thought Hypori was 5 months. I could be wrong. I'll go check my NEC to make sure.

Hypori occured at the same time as Muunilist, as shown in the cartoon.
