I have every single gold medal for this game except for the level "Battle Above Talloran". Can someone please tell me how to get gold in this level b/c this level is insane and i've played it 7 ways from sunday and hundreds of times over and still cant beat it. What ship would you use and do you have any ideas to help? thanks people

id use the naboo starfighter if you put that cheat in. I dunno what your having problems with it for... just go real fast, kill a few ties that get in your way to up kills, and get the upgrade on the cloud city thing. What stat thing isnt getting the gold requirements?

My stat problems are that my accuracy sucks, and sometimes, sometimes, i cant save that blockade runner from being destroyed. most of the time i save him though. oh, and the number of guys i kill. i can do the mission in 5 to 6 minutes but my accuracy sucks b/c sometimes my lasers pass through one of the Imp gas canisters and goes onto the other side.

Don't blow up the Tibanna Tanks near the Blockade Runner and you won't destroy it... There is no need to ever attack the Tanks again if you allready have the weapon upgrade...

Battle Above Tolloran(S?)!?! That is my very favorite level. I love that level.
When shooting the Imperial tanks you have to figure just how many shots it takes and shoot no more.
I suggest the A-Wing. I love that ship. If it is equipped with seeking missiles it is best to kill TIEs with those cause they only seek the target. This helps keep accuracy up. I have never had a problem with keeping the Runner alive. I don't know what to say, perhaps kill all the Imp gun turrets as fast as possible.
If you don't like the A-Wing, I also love the V-Wing. The Cluster Seeker Missiles are great. That would take out a bunch of TIEs fast and accurately. Though you gotta be careful around the Tibanna gas tanks a stray could cause you trouble.
Don't forget the powerup in the city. Even if you have gotten it you have to get it again.
I love this game it is one of the best.
I hope that helps. May the Force be with you.

The V-wing is my fav ship in that game, in tie with the naboo starfighter. However, Taloraan, or however you spell it, is a gas planet with bad atmosphere or something... The v-wing is an atmosphere only ship that cant be used on the battle above Taloraan. That would be awesome to use the seeker cluster missiles on the wave of ties that pass through tho... but yeah, ive never had any difficulties about blowing up the thing... its always fine unless i get bored and decide to shoot it up myself. Just use two shots on each tank, or do the link fire and i think its only one shot then, and theyre dead, unless the damn game screws up and the shots go right through it and destroy a civilian one... OOOO that level pissed me off when it did that...

I haven't played this game for a while, though it is a really great game. I don't believe I had much trouble getting gold on Taloraan, Sullust was what bothered me, it took me a LONG time to get gold on that level. I must say I cheated though, I used the Infinite Lives Code, did anyone else use that? Anyway I think I might have used the Naboo Starfighter or X-Wing. Use up all your Seeker Torpedoes or whatever, that should help your accuracy a little and take as few shots as possible.

I STILL cant beat the damn AT-PT level because theyre so stupid that they go right in front of the AT AT's instead of waiting for me to clear the way for them... that level pisses me off so much that i just dont play it anymore. I have all gold medals except for that one. Even for the 3rd secret level. deaddack is the code that gets you it.
but i have my xbox hooked up right now, so i dont feel like unhooking it and then doing the n64 just yet... oh well.

I love the AT-PT level, its my favourite in the game! First level I got gold in. The worst is either Sullust or Thyferra...

One strategy for Sullust is to do nothing but destroy missile turrerts until they're all gone, then finish up the level.

I dunno about Talloraan. The only thing that you really have to do is destroy the turrets quickly and you should be good.
