Forgive me if this topic has already been addressed, but I was wondering how many of you noticed Aayla walking towards the camera in the Jedi temple as Obi-Wan was going to visit Master Yoda and the Bear Clan. Personally I wish it had been a close-up shot, but it was still cool to see her there.

That guy who looks like a duck is Pablo Jill, and doesn't look as much like a duck as you might have thought.

I saw her there as well, struttin' her stuff.

If I was Obi-Wan walking towards the training room, I might have bumped into something because of the distraction ;)

she's hot, but I don't reallyg et what the bid deal is about her. I mean isn't she jsut a glorified Extra? Or is she meant to have a bigger role later on?

I'm jsut curious, I don't really understand the whole AS phenomenon

I'm pretty sure Aayla was part of the EU prior to having a role in AOTC. I think that's why she's a "glorified extra".

I'm hoping to see more of Aayla in action during Episode III - but even that seems kind of unlikely. :(

I pretty much noticed her right away.

Blue skin, revealing Jedi outfit, the way she walked like a fashion model - all attention grabbers. :)

Aayla was a character in the ongoing comic series when GL saw her on a comic cover and had her stuck inta the movie. Proof that while he doesnt really work with the EU, he does acknowlege it. One thing tho, Aayla's little outfit is cool [face_love] , but doesnt seem to be very Jedi-ey. I would think sheed' be more modest.

You can indeed see Aayla Secura at the Jedi Temple scene.

Here's a list of the scenes where Aayla can be seen in "Star Wars Episode II: Attack Of The Clones" (DVD Widescreen version).

Aayla Secura's scenes in Episode II (Disc 1 Widescreen DVD version-chronological):
    - Background Jedi Temple Youngling scene 1: Frontal shot of Aayla descending the staircase next to the Youngling Training Room.
    - Background Jedi Temple Youngling scene 2: Side shot of Aayla talking briefly to a Bith Jedi behind Obi-Wan Kenobi.
    - Background Jedi Temple Youngling scene 3: Rear shot of Aayla walking away behind Obi-Wan Kenobi.
    - Background Jedi Appearance Geonosis Arena Battle: Side shot of Aayla igniting her lightsaber in an upwards arcing, right hand grip motion, on the left side behind Ki-Adi Mundi.
    - Background Geonosis Arena Battle: Frontal shot of Aayla seen executing a left leg high-kick on a Superbattledroid and slicing a Battledroid in half. On the left side, behind the female "Ha!" shouting Jedi.
    - Foreground Surviving Jedi Circle: Rear/Above shot of Aayla being led to the Jedi Circle by a Geonosian Guard, lower right of the screen.
    - Middle Section Surviving Jedi Circle 1: Rear to side shot of Aayla standing in the Jedi Circle and slowly turning, looking around, middle to right side of the screen behind Mace Windu.
    - Middle Section Surviving Jedi Circle 2: Side to frontal shot of Aayla turning and looking up as Yoda arrives with the Republic Gunships, middle left side of the screen behind Mace Windu.
    - Background Jedi Circle after Arrival Republic Gunships 1: Frontal/Side shot of Aayla arcing her ignited lightsaber to deflect incoming laserfire, double hand grip, left to right double swing, middle right side of the screen.
    - Background Jedi Circle after Arrival Republic Gunships 2:
Frontal/Side shot of Aayla arcing her ignited lightsaber to deflect incoming laserfire as other Jedi board the Gunships, double hand grip, left swing, middle right side of the screen.
    - Background Geonosis Clone War Battle 1: Frontal shot of Aayla, lightsaber ignited, running into battle with a squad of Clonetroopers. Middle, left side of the screen behind Kit Fisto.
    - Background Geonosis Clone War Battle 2: Rear shot of Aayla, lightsaber ignited, running into battle with a squad of Clonetroopers. Middle, lower part of the screen.

Aayla Secura's appearances in Disc 2 (Episode II Widescreen DVD version):
    - Disc 2 Start-Up Screen/Main Menu: Aayla is seen at the bottom right of the screen for a few seconds. (Background is the Jedi library. The shot used is the one from the Jedi Temple where she is talking to that Bith Jedi.)
    - Disc 2 Documentary Menu: Aayla is seen at the bottom of the screen. (Background is the Geonosis battle scene where Aayla is seen leading Clonetroopers into battle.)

You can also see Amy Allen who portrayed Aayla in Episode II without the Aayla make-up/outfit in the Coruscant "Outlander" club scene.
You see her wearing a red/black outfit with a large headpiece, she walks past behind Obi-Wan Kenobi when he says to Anakin "In that case be extra careful." (You might have to play it at slow-motion to spot her.)

It's so that Aayla Secura was first an EU comic character, created by John Ostrander and Jan Duursema for the "Twilight" Star Wars comic. When George Lucas saw Jon Foster's cover for "Darkness" issue 2, which featues Aayla, he wanted her added to Episode II. Amy Allen, who at that time was an ILM employee, got to portray Aayla.

Aayla Secura appears in these comics:
    - Dark Horse Extra "Heart of Fire"
    - Dark Horse "Star Wars Ongoing#19-22: Twilight"
    - Dark Horse "Star Wars Ongoing #32-35: Darkness"
    - Dark Horse "Star Wars Ongoing#36-39: The Stark Hyperspace War"
    - Dark Horse "Star Wars Ongoing#42-45: Rite of Passage"
    - Dark Horse "Star Wars Tales #14 - Tides of Terror"
    - Dark Horse "Star Wars Republic #49: Sacrifice"
    - Dark Horse "Star Wars Republic #50: Attack on Kamino - Brothers In Arms"
    - Star Wars Insider #66 "Elusion, Illusion" (Story by Michael Stackpole with illustration by Jan Duursema.)

You can always visit the Aayla Secura fansite here. Or check out Aayla's 'official' thread in this forum here.

Lol! :p Actually it's just my favorite SW character. The comics she appears in are great artpieces, which is also great. :)
