CT Did anyone notice this blooper in Empire Strikes Back?

In The Empire Strikes Back, during the scene where Luke has swam ashore from his X-Wing in the Dagobah swamp and then R2D2 gets attacked by the swamp monster, Luke yells "R2!!" and looks around where then the camera goes to the X-Wing. In the background there is someone running across real fast from left to right.
I just noticed this for the first time, but never heard or read about the blooper before. Has anyone noticed this "intruder" running across the swamp? Probably a guy from the film crew or something.

It may not be posted on YouTube, but it's there on DVD, Blu Ray and even VHS.

 

That would be Luke running across the shore.

 

In that case the answer is yes, I did see that figure in the background running across real fast from left to right. Turns out it's the only human being in this entire sequence.

I watched the scene again, and I take it all back. That's not Luke at all...

It's a chupacabra.

 

While we're on ESB bloopers, my Dad insists that when Captain Needa gets picked up off the floor he's pushing himself up. I don't see it myself, but I was wondering if anyone else noticed this/thought the same?

 

I think your dad is trying to seem smarter than everyone else by pointing something out that only he (thinks he) can see.

I don't see it myself. Needa alooks limp and lifeless. Unless that's a chupacabra.

I like to think that's what inspired the one Robot Chicken sketch.

 

I read about that as a kid, but I only noticed it a couple of times. I try to look at Vader to avoid thinking about that.

 

How can it be Luke? Luke is standing there on shore looking for R2. The figure running is off in the distance opposite from where Luke is standing.
