Did anyone notice that Agen Kolar had a red lightsaber in the 22 episode of Clone Wars???
You can see him with the wolf Jedi and Aayla Secura during that one part when they are fighting those big spider droids before he is captured in that bubble.

I hadn't noticed, but he does indeed have either redish or orangish lightsaber in that scene.

I did as well, I was very excited they were finally starting to use different colored lightsabers....granted the wrong colors but still better than the same old same old. Most jedi don't have the blue and green sabers, they have many other ones, shame Lucas only wanted them those two colors.

Well, as has been posted many times across the many forums I'm sure, originally there was only going to be one color for Jedi: blue. But it wasn't going to show up too well against a blue sky on Tatooine in Return of the Jedi, so Luke's new saber was made green.

I thought it was a purple saber, but I could be wrong. VHS tape doesn't do it justice.

Because of his skin color, I too thought he was Eeth Koth, but the credits at the end of the whole shibang list him as being Agen Kolar.

In the downloaded version of the chapter that I have saved on my computer, his saber looks much more redish-orange than it does purple.

Oh boy- I won't go into too much however after much debate and multiple sources in another thread it was decided Eeth Koth is dead. I was always under the impression he just kind of went off to do other things as did Adi Gallia after Episode 1, as they are replaced by Agen Kolar and Stass Allie. However, multiple sources as questionable as they might be state that Eeth unfortunately died at the Battle of Geonosis.

ONE source, in all of Star Wars, stated that Eeth Koth died at Geonosis. And that source also stated that a number of other characters died as well, who we know lived.

I think that the reason for Agen Kolar's sudden popularity in the EU is that nobody ever wrote much about Eeth Koth to begin with.

And as for Agen's lightsaber... well, obviously he's the clone of Darth Maul's uncle's twin brother, which is why he needs the red lightsaber, since he's part Sith and all.

barris- believe me I'm not disagreeing with you at all I firmly believe that Eeth didn't die. I'm just saying there was another forum on here where I was battling this out with people for a long time and I said the same thing, the only sources also say things that aren't true, in the end however I just gave up because more sources kept coming up saying he did.
