No one in the saga was ever seen with them, but it seems logical to me that they did at some time in the past, like around when Yoda was born.

Good question. We don't hear of disabled people, amputees get new limbs, etc. So presumbably they have something more reliable than lasik to permanently fix bad eyesight. There are no deaf people with visible hearing aids either. That said, even the human characters in GFFA aren't really human as we are. They age, but apart from that seem rather free from the ills of the flesh that we're prone to.

    Charactors with glasses:
    Tey how
    Garindan
    Plo Koon
Vader ( built into the mask )

Some pod racers were goggles, but they aren't for vision correction,
Tusken Raiders have those things, but thats probably for sand and light

Lobot was fitted with an intellegence enhancer that lets him interface directly with cloud cities computers. An early concept was to have him left mute from the opperation, But I'm not sure if his Muteness was ever officialy established.

I don't mean protective sun goggles like a few characters wear,I mean just plain old clear spectacles. I do remember seeing in the book "The art of Star Wars-A new hope" a concept drawing of an Imperial officer with glasses.

    I wear eyeglasses. :D
    :p

Seriously, I think that people in GFFE don't need eyeglasses. If thay have technology as advanced as Death Star or lightsabers, that can surely treat an eye sickness.

Noa Briqualon from the Ewoks movies wore glasses.

Cliegg Lars was confined to a chair.

    General Madine has a toupee.
