Considering first that the Ewoks seem to have a classical policy of cooking and eating their captured foes in the instance of Luke, Han, R2 and Chewie and also considering that the Ewoks were able to capture and kill a significant number of stormies in the Battle of Endor judging by the helmets used as drums during the victory celebration does anyone think that the Ewoks might have eaten a few of the captured stormtroopers? Afterall the Rebels could hardly object since they were outnumbered by the Ewoks, hated the stormtroopers and had won control of the Empire thanks to the Ewoks.

Of course they did. They nearly ate the good guys, so why not the enemy?

    I always thought so.

Those stormtrooper helmets they used as drums...I always assumed those were from roasted troopers...

    Only one nasty question:
Did Luke, Leia, Han and the rest also eat stormtroopers?

Yeah, maybe they were tricked into it.

Luke: "Oh really? This is roasted bantha? Mmmm--" *then he sees the human body on the spit* "OH GOD...OH....OH GOD, NO, NO!"

    That'd be hot.

I dun think they ate the stormies. They might have eaten their rations but surely not their meat.

Well, the ewoks are pretty small folks, so I reckon they just salted up most of the stormies and stored them away for the lean months.

I guess the Alliance provided little Ewoks some hi-tech can openers to get the stormtrooper meat out of the armor... :D

    I doubt they told them

The Ewoks probably just presented them with a plate of meat they said was a rare delicacy that they had just perfected

And the rebels were so hungry after the tough battle they didn't think twice about eating it

Then Luke learns what they ate, and runs into the street, err, swings through the trees shouting at everyone not to eat it

I wouldn't be surprised at all if they did!! [face_laugh]
Wicket: YEEHAW!!! Looks like meats back on the menu boys!!!!
*All of the Ewoks jump onto the poor Storm Troopers and eat them*

    Now the line..

"DrGrant: The point is.. you are alive when they start to eat you."

    has a whole new meaning..

It woulda been funny to see, but the captured Imps were taken into orbit and either put in prison camps or sent back to the Empire.

thats a bit disturbing, trying to imagine a massive slew of "Teddy-Bear" like mongrols swarming onto a defencless stormtrooper and devouring him.

the question is not whether or not they ate them, but if they did then why did yoda's ben's and anakin's spirits seem so pleased at the celebration?

I am still confused as to how a bunch of savage teddy bears were able to kill a highly trained military platoon and the much more advanced rebellion couldn't even try and thwart them themselves.

don't you think that there armor would at least deflect rocks?

"my god they've got rocks, we aren't able to defend against such a device!"

the people on tatooine only had sand to fight the empire with

using this stratagy of flinging rocks, the people of geonosis could have rained down heavy amounts of doom on the republic.
