Did you ever pause a scene just to dechipher the Aurebesh writing on something?

I did this a few times. It's interesting what's there sometimes.

It got to the point where I kinda half picked up the aurebesh script in my head and can often read an aurebesh script word without even having to pull up the page with the letters on it. Just looking at it.

I just wondered on occassion if they hid some insults to the whiny fans in those things, but never bothered with decyphering them.

I've done it. I don't remember examples, but some of them were clever references while others were just signs that said what you'd expect them to say.

Aurebesh translations can be fun. Remember the Plo Koon bonus content clip?

Well, it's cool to know that it isn't just jibberish.

There must be a website out there that archives all that stuff. Learning Aurebesh can't be all that hard - from what I can tell, most of the letters are similar to their alphabet counterparts, just turned sideways and/or screwed around with.

Here's the Wookieepedia article on Aurebesh, complete with a rather lengthy list of prominent uses of directly translatable Aurebesh across the many forms of visual Star Wars media.
