Wow, your right. I did remove his reflection but the shadow is still there, I guess after awhile it started looking like a stain in the pavement and I forgot about it. You've got a keen eye.

Yeah that was pretty convincing.. But I can still see mistakes. In the first pic, where the logo once was one can see a horizontal line in the trees. Looks like bad-clone-tooled.

In the second image you forgot to remove one person which is right behind the second lantern from the left.

the latex mask texture... it is directly painted over the image or did you create the texturew which was copied onto the mask itself?

the "space scene created in photoshop"- the planet looks almost exactly like the one of greg martin'sPlanet tutorial... You used that didn´t you?

Geez, nothing gets by you guys.

In the first pic, your right there is a horizontal line, not clone tools fault though. It was an extra layer that was a copy/paste from the section above that I had forgotten to turn off when I saved it as a JPG.

In the second pic I did forget to remove a person. Originally I had made it a stormy night scene first. Then I decided to get rid of the people and the modern elements, but after hours of looking at the same picture things begin to blend together. I did notice it in the morning, but it wasn't very noticable in the stormy night version, and because it was a personal project I just didn't feel like fixing it some more.

The latex mask texture was done in photoshop as a concept design for a contest. Ofcourse, I started to late and never entered the contest but I do like how it turned out.

The space scene image done in photoshop is highly based on greg martins tutorial, but there were alot of different techniques used on it to make it one of my own. I recommend his tutorials for anyone who hasn't seen them yet.

And finally JediTAC, thank you, you've realized the purpose of this thread. But ofcourse constructive critism is always welcome aswell. Ofcourse there are alot of people who don't need my help, that's cool too, but there are some who do. And I'm offering services for free.

I am most impressed with the re-colored hallway pic. I've tried to recolor B&W images with no real success. I would like to know the method in which you did that. Everything else looks fine, with the exceptions mentioned above ;).

    Good work!

I really don't have a set method, I keep the b&w photo as the base, then I make a different layer for all the colors and elements that are then applied with different modes like overlay, etc. Different things work for different colors and different types of images, I just tweak it until I get what I want. I guess the key is working in layers.

Well, I must say that I am pleased with everyones replys and with the amount of emails I have recieved. Unfortunately, I will not be accepting any more requests as of now. I've picked up a handfull of jobs that are quite time consumingand I think this is the best decision in order to get the best quality work possible. Thanks.

nice work. If you showed somebody the fixed pictures unless people knew you had takemn something out of them, i don't think they would be able to tell.

but can you do it for footage?

PS i really like ur church photo

I really like the church, and the night-time lights looks fantastic. They remind me of Monkey Island for some reason...

Just curious, but are these shown at the sizes you work at, or have you shrunk them down?

Some very nice work you've got there. If anyone's conscripted you to do space scenes for them, you should check out the planet tutorial on my site.
