Do girls like Monty Python?

Last night, I was watching Family Guy, and there was a bit where Meg was being tortured by watching bad Monty Python skits, and she said, "I'm a girl, I don't even like the good Monty Python skits!".

I know they were making fun of the fact that it's usually teenage boys who like Monty Python, but is Monty Python sometimes something most females don't get into, for whatever reason?

I feel like disagreeing with that statement will get me and my entire family "relocated".

 

They are not skits, they are sketches.

And last night's family guy blew chunks.

 

This has been the case since ~2 years ago.

 

I love Monty Python.

 

Girls definitely like Monty Python because my sister is the one who introduced it to me. She loves it, I love it, all of my female friends I've shown love it.

Ever since the hiatus it just hasn't been as clever or funny.

 

I would say after the first few episodes coming out of the hiatus.

 

Appreciation of Monty Python is a prerequisite of friendship. Jabba is not, and never will be, my friend.

 

Never really watched it myself, so I guess I have no opinion on the matter. I never went out of my way to seek it out, either, but that's just because I was never really exposed to it. The real question should be whether girls like the Three Stooges or not. That seems to be the comedy gap between the sexes, honestly.
