Do girls like sideburns?

I'm considering whether or not I should shave them off. They go down to the bottom of my ear lob.

 

Well I'm a girl, and I don't like them.

 

I've been told no, which saddens me, as I like my sideburns.

I don't particularly, no.

I don't mind little ones, but the big hairy ones are just ugghy

 

I like mine. They are perfectly rectangular and buzz-cut. One girl I know, told me she likes them. I wanted to know what the majority opinion is.

Actually, I'm not sure, I really don't have an opinion. It probably depends on the girl, and whether she's biased or not. For example, I would've told you a couple of years ago I wouldn't want to date a guy with long hair, but now I'm doing that, and I'm actually rather biased in favor of it now. So it really all depends on the current and previous biases of any given individual, or just what they like on general principles.

EDIT: In answer to your second question: I like guys to have not really short hair, long enough for me to play with. So, like, not shaved or all really short. It wouldn't have to be actually long, but no complaints if it is, provided it's just long by guy standards and not so much by girl standards (that is, a little past shoulder length is good, past mid-back or something is not good). But long enough that it's actually there. Not short and spiked. But then, I suspect a lot of people disagree with me here.

EDIT2: And really, like I said, it depends on who you like and thus what you're biased in favor of. If I fell in love with a guy with really short hair or a shaved head or something, who knows, I might become biased in favor of that. I really don't think it's all that big a deal, though I do have preferences, which I've mentioned above.

it depends on the guy. Generally I don't care too much for side burns. And I've been known to go gah-gah over long hair in the past.

but now I'm engaged to a guy that shaves his head every week.

go figure, huh?

I like my guys with longer hair...but not too long.
As for sideburns...it would depend. Some guys look amazing in them and some look terrible.

In general, I would have to say: no. At least, I don't. I can't speak for all females, of course.

I usually prefer longer hair, though strangely enough, the three guys I find the most attractive ( one celebrity, one local, and one foreign..) all have really short hair. So I guess that contradicts itself.. but I don't like 'buzz cuts' on most guys. I like it to be at least an inch or two for each individual hair, you know? Not that I inspect every guy's hair that closely and measure it, but you know what I mean.

 

My girlfriend loves my sideburns. Not too long and not too short.

Now, what I want to know is, how do girls feel about goatees? Or facial hair in general?

 

I love it all. The more hair (on the head) the better. Well, except for those big rabbi beards. Those aren't very sexy.
