I remember them fondly from my childhood and I think I am going to start collecting them again. My favorite was always Tenderheart Bear.
Tenderheart is a loving and lovable bear who knows lots about helping others share their feelings. By helping people show they care, Tenderheart Bear helps spread love and make it grow. He wears the perfect symbol for his job on his tummy?a heart.

Get a grip Smelly! Carebears are for little girls, and big girls, and teeny boppers. Not evil proteges that have been mindwarped by Darth Viper!

No one has been mindwarped. I have found happiness in my changed ways. Please accept that. You would be a better person too if you changed your ways.

But if we lose you and Mortimer_Snerd and Viper and SLR, then all we have left for humour on the boards are the Mods jokes, which we only laugh at as to not anger them and get kicked off.
The only "really" funny Mod is Katya, and MalkieD2 isn't too bad, but we now have a humourless board!

I too enjoy care bears. I am very upset that I would insinuate that Barney was the child of George W. Bush and the Purple care bear. Poor purple care bear. I apologize. Hugs and kisses.

I used to have one back in the day when they first became popular in the 80s. I don't remember which one I had.

Are you talking about the Ku Klux Kare Bear?

Those were just a cheap aftermarket ripoff thought of by some clever readnecks to convert young minds.
They're going for like five dollars on e-bay.

P.S. I still love all of you!

Whoever created these satanic red and metal Care Bears should be ashamed of themselves. I am appalled that something like is allowed to manufactured and produced. If I find out what company made these, I will certainly boycott them.

I discovered last year that one of my professors at school did some of the voices for the care bears and has done a lot of commercial work for voice acting.

I loooooove the Care Bears, and I always have. They take me to a happy place in my childhood. :)

I had a bunch of them, and I still have them, although my dog got a hold of them a long time ago, so they're kinda chewed up; like missing noses and stuff.

I have a few T-shirts and tank tops now with various Care Bears on them.
