Somehow old posts from back in March ended up on the last page of the thread. Probably better to close it before anyone starts interacting with their own past...
So, as I asked in the previous thread - Does anyone think it's likely we'll learn in what is left of Series 7 exactly who/what it is that the Silence's relegion worships, or will it be left until the 50th Anniversary/Series 8? I personally don't think an event as big as the 50th Anniversary needs recent not-so-iconic villains as the main antagonists, but if it was discovered that who they worship was a big threat (such as The Master ot the Dalek Emperor etc) then it would be OK. Of course, the Moff may invent something new to the 50th, but if a multi-Doctor story is happening it would need to be pretty big.
We might get something similar to the final Pond eps, i.e, in terms of the titling to reflect the episode Spoiler (I would imagine steelish titles for Gaiman's Cyberman ep for example) , but I doubt they would go to all the expense to have those new graphics with Matt's face blended into it, if it wasn't going to be used for the remainder of S7.
He was just trying to make his post look like something out of the past, like in the old thread. But I saw right through your not-so-cunning plan, Everton! *shakes fist*
I wonder if more of the audio stories will be on the radio prior to the 50th Anniversary, or even a new one.
Did solojones get trapped in the old thread? Did she interact with her previous posting self and cause a paradox keeping her in the old thread?
By some design she always seems to get the last post in places. The old boards, and now - with a post made weeks ago - she managed it in the old DW thread.
That's a pretty creative way of celebrating the 50th anniversary if you ask me. I wonder who they have lined up. I'm willing to bet Eoin Colfer would leap at the chance, and I can see Anthony Horrowitz writing one. Maybe Phillip Pullman too? (I know a lot of people think of him purely as a children's author due to the His Dark Materials trilogy)
Looks like John Barrowman is off the panto stage for a bit... Actor John Barrowman has been injured during a performance of Jack and the Beanstalk at a Glasgow theatre. The Doctor Who and Torchwood star was taken to hospital from the SECC Clyde Auditorium as a precaution. His injuries were not serious. Barrowman had fallen off a live horse during the matinee show, which also stars the Krankies. Needs a stuntman..
