It's people like this who piss me off.

Sorry if this belongs in the Senate or something. Feel free to move it if you'd like.

I think it's rather tragic that it has come to this. Let's just kill people who disagree with us. Ironically, they're going to justify killing this person for killing babies. That's a great answer to stop something you perceive as a problem...do it to the people causing the problem!

    Sad day.

Doctor Who performs abortions? Well, this is a radical departure for the show.

Although I obviously disagree with the justification and murdering people is kinda bad, the logic does make sense.

    1. Doctor is "killing babies" (i.e., he's a murderer).
    2. Doctor will not be charged with any crime.
    3. Doctor will not stop killing babies.
    4. One life < many others.
    5. Kill doctor.

...well, assuming that he's the only abortion doctor in existence. Then it would make sense.

What would that involve? Extracting a woman's eggs directly from her ovaries?

[Bill Hicks]Pro-lifers shooting abortion doctors. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA![/Bill Hicks]

Sorry, this post was a bit mean. I hate pro-lifers as a group and this is just one more piece of justification. Soo...congrats.

As much as this is a tragedy, I don't really feel sorry for him.

And where's that popcorn gif that people keep posting?

    While I personally am PRO-Life.

The Supreme Court did rule that abortions are legal and no one else should be taking the law into their own hands.

The more radical pro-lifers need to take a chill pill and just remember that you shouldn't judge others unless you want judged yourself.

It's difficult to pin down where I stand on this issue. I'm pro-life in that I would never recommend an abortion to anyone and would encourage having the child and giving him/her up for adoption, but I'm also in favor of legalized abortion, if for nothing else than to give women who do choose abortion to have a safe, sanitary place to have the procedure performed. If someone really wants an abortion, they'll get it done, one way or another. Better to have a safe place to do it than some sketchy back-alley location.

I agree with Guy in the fact that their logic does make sense, but that doesn't stop them from being hypocrites. To say you're against murder and then go and, I dunno, murder someone doesn't really solve anything.

It really sucks that it's always the trouble-causing minority that gets attention, while the relatively peaceful (ie not blowing stuff up or killing people) get no attention. But hey, this is America and we thrive on media sensationalism and death. [face_flag]

    Sound reasoning, I say.

Ugh, I hate when the pro-life movement gets hijacked by these idiots.

It appears, unfortunately, that many of us have forgotten about the part of life that goes on after birth. I am pro-life, meaning that I am against abortion, against the death penalty, against torture, and believe health care is a right, not a privelege.

As much as I agree with the people who say this is insane, there's an interesting point in this version of the story

How late? Late-term abortions can be risky, sometimes it's better to carry to full term. To some extent I can understand the logic behind it as a late-term abortion is more like a human being than a collection of cells when an abortion is done early.

I'm surprised that some crazy pro-lifers haven't started popping expectant mothers who are on their way in to have their baby aborted. That would show them!

    This blog post is interesting

For the record, I am absolutely not in favor of third-trimester abortion, but this is not the Wild West either. You can't just shoot people you don't like or agree with.
