Does anyone else hate Limp Bizkit's version of Behind Blue Eyes?

I do because it totally ruins the Who's original version, and they even leave a whole section out. my cousin is constantly blaring Limp Bizkit's version and I told him it sucks and I'll let him listen to the original and vastly better version, but he has never taken me up on the offer. It seemed like he didn't even know it was a remake.

 

Never should have happened. Durst is a turd and thinks he's a rock legend. He had the idea of remaking a who song because while trying like hell to write more limp crap music he heard it on the radio and in his warped mind thought he could be in the same caliber as pete townsend.

 

From what I've heard, "Behind Blue Eyes" is Limp Bizkit's best song, and I hate it anyway.

I do too, Jaguar. The section they left out is the best part of the whole song, too. Not that they did a particularly great job with the rest of it, but hey...

From the Gothika soundtrack? It's okay,but the original by The Who is much better.

 

I actually liked "Three Dollar Bill, Y'All". I've hated everything else I've ever heard by them. The bastardized version of "Behind Blue Eyes", is horrible.

The part with the "Speak and Spell" though, pure gold.



Oh yeah, Pure Gold = Crap, btw.

Limp Bizkit's cover of Behind Blue Eyes made me want to vomit. So I guess you could say I hate it.

 

I have a soft spot for that song because that;s what introduced me to The Who and all.

So yeah, I do actually like it.

As long as no-one every tries to copy Baba O'Reily, then I'll be happy. It seems I'm in the minority here, but I thought Bizkit's copy was semi-decent. I still like the original better, but I don't mind Fred's version either.

I once convinced a friend I was taking her to a free limp bizkit show, telling her how we needed to open our musical horizons...then Velvet Revolver came out and she was relieved it was all a joke.

It's the worst song on that CD, but I like it.

I've liked Limp Bizkit since the Three Dollar Bill, Yall days. Signifigant Other rocked. Chocolate Starfish was iffy. But the new CD is pretty solid for a rock CD. Of course, most people just don't like Fred Durst and won't give the new stuff an ounce of time. Of course, after 'Rollin', heh.
