Does anyone giggle when Padme "rejects" Anakin in the fireplace scene?

I always get a kick out of Padme's line, "We live in a real world. Come back to it," and then watching Anakin's reaction as he looks up to her.

The more I watch this scene, the more I notice the facial reactions both characters are going through. I know on the DVD commentary it was said there were 2 separate cameras to get the physical mannerisms of both actors. It worked.

 

I feel sorry for the boy. He's just been rejected by the woman he loves. There is not much more heartbreaking.

 

Poor Ani, he's just gotten rejected by the girl he's spent 10 years dreaming about and still has to spend every aching minute with her! I felt bad for him too.

As for giggling, there were people in the theater laughing at the dialogue and the acting in that scene. It didn't bother me though.

 

That's weird. I didn't hear anyone laughing during this scene on opening day when I saw it. But the more I watch this scene, the more it amuses me, but mostly because of the situation both characters are in.

I didnt really giggle when she shuts him down in the fireplace scene. I kind of giggled when they were on the balcony he was saying all those cheesy pick up lines and they start to kiss she pulls away and the music comes to a screetching halt. Then the look on his face. That made me giggle a little

And yes, this is relevant ... but you have to get it to know that.
