Does cruise control work when you're driving the car in reverse?

I remember someone telling me once that they discovered cruise worked in reverse on their car. Forgot the car though.

Why do you want to know anyways DP? Are you planning on having a highspeed chase backwards to make things slightly diffrent in LA for once?

Hey now I didn't say Go try it people!!

I just thought when I'm in a driving shoot out it might be handy especially dring reloading to have cruise control. But I didn't want to try it out in the middle of a gun battle....and I'm too lazy to go out and test it right now.

 

I'm not sure on newer cars, but I know on a lot of cars (at least the ones I've had) the cars gotta be in 3rd gear for the cruise to work. I could be wrong though.

Depends on the car. Some it's a certain gear, others its a certain speed (25 for my car, actually).

Cruise control in reverse is just plain retarded.
