I called my store a few minutes ago, asking if we were able to be out of dress code for today, as it's Halloween. The answer? NO! Really, management of 2526, on Halloween we can't be out of your precious little dress code? *******.

Universal Studios was the only company I worked for that would allow its employees to dress in costumes for Halloween.

 

The Sam's Club where I live allowed it's workers to be in costume on Thursday.

 

As it turns out, the manager I talked to on the phone was a complete ditz...............we were able to dress up for today after all. So, though I still was dressed in my work clothes (I was planning on wearing a baseball jersey), I salvaged the day by not wearing the new Wally World aprons & by leaving my sunglasses on through the entire shift.

One floor of my office is where all the women managers are and it was all super decorated, my floor only has guys so no decorations.

When I worked at a merchandise stand in a football stadium we were encouraged to dress up in our own costumes for Halloween. I wore the provided T-Shirt.

 

How DARE they not allow you in costume at work for Halloween! The greatest holiday of all time!
