Well it kinda works... now I want to buy it and prove them wrong.

Maybe it causes women to grow hair all over their bodies and get giant fangs and spend every night ripping people's guts out.

Maybe Dr. Pepper is just trying to save the world.

I would feel bad making fun of Dr. Pepper if they were just trying to save the world.

 

It probably makes people with too many X chromosomes explode after three sips.

 

This is not a surprise at all. Since men find it *embarrassing to drink a diet soda the big companies have been creating sodas or rebranding existing low cal sodas to men.

Now the "unmanly" commercials by Miller Lite are truly stupid.

 

This ad is full of fail.

 

Is the next ad gonna be about how young women can't understand algebra so they have their brothers do their homework?

Kind of puts me off Dr Pepper.

 

Dr Pepper was already off-putting before this so meh.

 

I'm with the Dr. on this one. They're not saying women can't drink it, but they're being quite literal in the fact that the drink was made, specifically, for men. And they even pointed out that the slogan, while literal, is also tongue-in-cheek.

They also were not implying women need to drink it to prove themselves, they just saw that women took it that way, but more as a challenge than a highly negative diss.

Anyway, I think it definitely looks offensive, but upon closer inspection, not a big deal.
