Drinking problem

My friend told me that I'm going to die because I drink too much...

water.

Yes, that's right. I drink at least 3 liters of water every day, and apparently I'm going to die of water intoxication.


Conversation:

Me: It's not a lot, it's only about 6-8 bottles of water a day.

Friend: You're going to turn into a float and die. Any last words?


But I'm so young. I didn't even get to go to college yet. And I don't have a will! Once I die, someone needs to make the "NYUmily Foundation" to help sick kids who drink too much water. People need to be aware of this problem before it gets out of hand. I suggest that cops start pulling people over if it seems as though they are floating in their seats. They can even make the people walk across a straight line; if they float as they make their way across it, they must be jailed immediately (so long as the prison cell has a bathroom).

It's true, lots of people with EDs drink tons of water. I'm way over my head

lol, well you can die from to much water, but it's incredibly hard to do, it's like drinking over two gallons in an hour. What happens is that your cells expand with the water and your brain cells can crush your spine cord. Of course it tends to only happen to slow marathon runners, because they think they have to drink a lot of water they over drink and do that. And then the medical people think they're dehydrated so they give 'em mored fluids enhancing the effect.

 

Technically you can die from drinking too much water, but I think it's something ridiculous like 10 gallons in a short span of time.

Well, that could get me in trouble, snowball, since I'm only 17. But it sure is nice to know that I can do something "dangerous" by becoming intoxicated in this fashion. I feel so hardcore.

At the health club where I used to work we told people to divide their weight in half and drink that many ounces of water a day.

It's a catch22 depending on where you live. Here in the southwest the humidity is so low we have a real problem with people dehydrating.

In any event, water is better than drinking soda.
