I think that you will find the tactical ops trooper right here . According to Sw.com he will be shipping Dec 2nd. Bly and Cody should be shipping around that time from what I have heard so you should be able to get them all by Christmas.

Cody better have a removable helmet. It wouldn't be that hard for them to make one with an removable helmet either.

The 501st Trooper with removable helmet, Gree, and Bly will all be released around the same time. I haven't heard anything official about Cody, but he's been talked about more than any other ROTS character that hasn't had a figure made yet, and everyone seems to be assuming he'll be out some time in 2006. There is also a Jedi Temple Assault Battle Pack out now (only at Kmart) that has three 501st troopers with quick-draw action in it.

Hasbro flat out said that they realize there is a demand for Cody and that you will see him in 2006. This is Hasbro though so take it with a grain of salt.

Nothing has been said about Neyo but its possible we may see him in the near future (wouldn't hold my breath though).

Keep in mind to take the "release dates" with a grain of salt too. Its not like DVDs that have a set day of showing up on shelves. When it gets right down to it when you'll actaully see the figures on the shelf is anyones guess :p

Thanks for the information, weezer. As long as we're discussing various commanders, would any of you happen to know anything about a Commander Fox? Because I consider myself somewhat familiar with the majority of the commanders and their uniforms, locations deployed to in ROTS, and all that, but I've heard a mention of Fox now and then but have never seen a picture of him or heard anything further about him, apart from one comment to the effect that he didn't exist.

Fox has been the subject of much debate. Some book somewhere says that Fox is the guy in the funny helmet on Utapau. That's what I've always called him. Don't know if its right or not but especially in the custom community that's what they call the character too.

thanks for all ur help guys, its even harder because im from toronto, and we dont have kay bee toys, kmart, or target,

therefore, any **** comic store, can get their hands on a shock trooper variant, and markup the price to 19.99 because its "rare"

    I hate it.

The creation of this army of variations of clones has got me to wondering if we can expect Hasbro to offer up more variations of Stormtroopers in later lines. Some of the clone variants we've seen don't appear in the films, a treatment I don't remember the classic Stormtroopers having been given before, but it seems like now anything is possible. Granted, the troopers in the original films were basically walking, talking targets (I blame it on degeneration of their genetic structure over the years), and no Stormtrooper played a major role in any of the original films, but you never know...

I got the Jedi Temple Assault with three Special Operations Troopers!!! Now I just need to wait for the carded figure, and the Battlefront version (if true) to complete my army.

I'm saving the Jedi Temple corridor backdrop that was part of the packaging and am going to set put together a little scene of Vader and his storming troopers vs. my 5 Jedi younglings and the 3 generic Jedi that came from the Clone Wars series.

I was able to pick up two of the Temple Assault sets myself (left a third for another collector). I'm pretty happy with these. Sure they could be better...but I'm a fan of the Quick-Draw mold and I'm impressed that they actually gave us both guns for each 501st troop...that's something they really didn't need to do.

My only complaint is the the shoulder connection was left white and it just looks awkward. Otherwise I am very happy with these clones. My two favorites from RotS were Bly and his troopers (I'm still waiting on my Evolutions set to start that army) and the Special Operations troopers. I love that Hasbro seems to be going out of their way to give us several variations of this group.

I found the basic three-pack clone troopers (red variation) at my local Targets yesterday. (Atlanta metro area, if anyone's from there.) I had found the blue variation two-three weeks ago, but haven't seen it since.

As far as the Deluxe 3-Packs are concerned, I've found the White, the Red/Rust, and the Green sets in either Toys R Us or Wal-Mart stores. I still haven't located the blue.

Until this weekend, I'd only seen the green variation. I went to a Wal-Mart about 15 miles away the other day by accident, and found the pegs packed to the gills with these sets, and the white, rust, and green were visible out front in large numbers. I'm sad I didn't look to see if they had the blue as well behind them, as the stock seemed basically untouched.

I also got to see for the first time the shock trooper and black pilot variations in large numbers, as well as several SA clones, a green commander, and several Bacaras. This new Wal-Mart was built out "in the sticks", and just had it's grand opening, but the town it's built by is very small, and I don't think there are many collectors out there...I wish I'd bought some of the clone stuff, because it's starting to grow on me...

EDIT: I ordered a Bacara the other day before I saw them in the stores finally, and he arrived today...cool figure despite his lack of articulation...dang it...I feel myself catching the "clone fever", which I really can't afford...

*contemplates going to Wal-Mart again and putting lots of that clone stuff on layaway for personal use*

Heh...thanks...I think I might start small by sticking to the movie variations first, then trying for the non-movie ones later...with the exception of the Clone Commander, since he's pretty cool.

Hmmm...time to get a second job maybe? Or at least pull 10 hours a day at work to afford all of those clones...:p [face_money_eyes]

I dropped by Toys R Us at lunch time today and spotted the really cool GI Joe Army builder 6-packs they had. Essentially it's just a set of repaints with lots of extra guns, but it's pretty cool to be able to buy 6 Cobra Soldiers or Crimson Guards for $19.99.

Since this is Hasbro, do you think we could convince them to use the same marketing scheme for Clonetroopers? Imagine a six-pack of repaints where we can finally get our Utaupaun, or Felucia, or Kashyyyk troops. I think I would be in Clone Collector Heaven.

I do agree with this idea...I think they should expand it too so there would be opposing forces such as (a decent sculpt) battle droid and wookiee army building packs also, with enough paint differences that the six figures in the pack are alike but different (I really like that wookiee warrior sculpt, though out here the massive peg warming numbers will probably be on clearance soon enough). If they really wanted to be ambitious, there are lots of other themed six packs they could pull off from the rest of the saga (ewoks, storm troopers, maybe tusken raiders, and for the those six people that actually like them, the Gungan six pack army builder).

Granted, interest in the figures if they were also packaged individually again might be reduced, but they've sold enough variations on most of these figures individually that I don't think they'd be losing much if they took this route (that's where the molds for the repaints would come from). I also think having some variants on these packs, like the clone ones you mentioned, would add buyability to the packs and variety to the armies.

I might sound like I'm going nuts, but the six pack army builder set is a good idea, and I think there would be a lot of takers for the clones at very least, and if they were done well, some of the others I mentioned.
