Oh man, that would be so fun to see again on the big screen! I have to think about this one, its about a 3 hour drive for me, but its also Empire! Hmmmmm,..........

Well we could also make more of a day of it like having dinner afterward or lunch before. I also dont live far away from the theatre so we could also do a potluck or something.

 

I just bought the tickets. I might wearing a shirt that reads.

Modesto is just one hour or less from my city.

 

Ok all, whose in on this? So far I have Tina, and possible a civilian friend coming. Its going to be at 3 this Saturday for 8 bucks. What a bahgain!

There's plenty of places to choose from to eat at afterward and we could grab a pic at the Lucas American Graffiti statue.

 

Should we purchase tickets ahead of time?

 

Yeah I think so. Probably don't need to, but better safe than sorry

 

My Kia is not running too good...there will be no extra driving for us this weekend. So sorry. I hope you guys have a great time. It's the best movie in the world for the big screen...it'll be a ton of fun, I'm sure.

 

I can give you guys a ride if you need one.

 

I'm waiting on some replies for plans up here with other friends, but if those fall through I might just come down!

Also... is it just me or does the narrator sound like it's a high pitched Harrison Ford reading lines like a sci-fi serial announcer?

Obviously the style of delivery was intentional knowing the saga's roots, but I just keep wondering if its Ford.

I got a call today from the theater that I need be there at 2PM to get the tickets. The one I got online it was just the receive of proof that I bought the tickets. I think she said the movie will be ending a 7PM.

I was half sleep when I answered the call.

There is going to be a long line like last time so be prepare to take some cold drinks. and cameras to take several photos. Like TaintedJedi said. They will also people in trooper outfits.

Hoping tomorrow the weather cools down little bit.
