Okay, I got this from another rp forum, which closed down (to which I was extremely disapointed, as this role play was probably the best I'd ever been in). I'll explain the details below.

The continent of Amalia is a war torn place. Two countries, one known as Deadra, and the other as Tal-Nomari, fight constantly.

The Deadrith may be considered 'the bad guys' of the rp. They are led by a power hungry, though not corrupt, leader named Deadrin, of whom the country's name sprouted from. Next in power is the Deadrith Council members, of which there are 12 (these are the highest powered of the Deadrith Army, next to Deadrin himself. A spot in council may be earned by killing a current council member).his army is filled with very powerful dark wizards, who's magick very few in the land can match, as well as dragon riders (think flying cavelry. These dragons aren't massive, overwhelmingly powerful), and of course, the weaker flat out warrior class, with no magick skills, only solid weapons. The Deadrith also posess something that could be compared to tanks in current times, called Crush Mages. Crush mages are large (150 - 300 ft tall), hominid shaped creatures, but with practically no intelligence, and can be steared like horses by the wizards. On the Crush Mages' shoulders are mounted cannons, which rather than shoot solid material, amplify the wizards' spell power by 10x.

The Tal-Nomari, on the other hand, are the weaker of the two forces. They are referred to as "Rebels", by both the Deadrith, and their own forces. These may be considered the 'good guys' of the rp. This army rarely ever ventures out of their own territory and into Deadrith territory, due to the fact the Deadrith power is almost double their own. What keeps this country alive is the fact they know their own territory very well, and when large Deadrith armies pass over into the Tal-Nomari lands, the Tal-Nomari set up traps and ambushes, which can make the tides of war equal, or even turn them around. The Ranks of the Tal-Nomari go in this order: Magiknights (fighters extremely adapt in both magic and physical fighting. These generally equal, or better the Deadrith Wizards), just plain wizards (have magic abilities, but not as strong as either magiknights or Deadrith wizards), and normal soldiers with solid material defences and offences. The artillery of the Tal-Nomari is generally just the Crush Mage cannons that are pilgimaged from what's left after battles. The Tal-Nomari have no king, like Deadrin is to the other country, but rather are led by a group of four generals, each the most powerful of magiknights.

There are also non Deadrith/T-N forces. Across the seas on the smaller, other continent, are small, troll-like creatures called Nem-Katar. There are very few of these on the continent, so only one or two players may play these at first (more will come overseas to join in the war as the rp goes on). But just for information, the Nem-Katar (N-K) continent is led by two leaders, one a strict, very intelligent leader, the other a less intelligent and strict, but more adept in the area of war, and with her priorities more straight.

The war isn't just decided by who wins battles and such. There is a myth (well, not really a myth, since everyone in the rp believes it's true, and it is), that scattered across the land are pieces of the weapon of a God; a weapon that can wipe out an army, a country, the world if the wielder wishes (Both sides will have small groups, or even large armies, of troops scouting for these pieces of the weapons.) There are 12 pieces in all, and each army knows of at least rumors of where 4 are. The pieces do nothing by themselves, but only as a complete sword.

Almost done. When dragons are mentioned, there are 5 types of dragons and demons (dragons and demons generally do inhabit areas of this world). D class dragons are small, maybe human sized dragons with no real power at all, nor wings. C class dragons are what the dragonriders of the deadrith ride; They aren't easily defeatable with a group of 4 or 5 men,

Welcome to the boards HockeyKing! :) You might want to check out the RPF Introduction Service and the RPing rules

You need to get non-Star Wars RPG checked out by the Moddess before you post them. ;)Again, welcome to the boards!

EDIT: If you already got this checked out, sorry!
