Even for a chick, that's gotta hurt...

The scene where Padmé jumps off the pillar and onto the critter behind Anakin. I mean, even for a chick, from that height, it's gotta hurt, and she didn't seem to be very bothered by it.

Anyone agree?

And yeah it didn't seem to be too plesant on Padme, I must admit. Maybe that's what the kiss was for.

 

Opinion is mixed between Anakin easing her fall a bit with the Force, or Padme having the fabled Groin Of Steel.

I'm really not clamouring for extra footage of Padme curled up in a ball and groaning in pain, thanks.

Maybe the Reek just has a soft back or something. Afterall Reek hunters say its one weakness is the skin on its back.

That Reek sure is lucky getting to take Padme for a a ride on its back. I bet the Reek gets all the ladies.

This reminds me of Jar Jar racking himself in TPM. He's in pain then, but why doesn't he react when the pit droid kicked him in the crotch? That always bugged me (not that this is on topic or anything...).

 

I don't really know why Jar Jar didn't react when the Pit Droid kicked him. (Well, I have a guess...)

 

I really don't want to think about Jar Jar's nether-regions...

 

It doesn't make sense, that: it WOULD have hurt teribly, but, its a pulp adventure. Its a matinee serial. How often do we see cowboys leaping from great heights onto horses and not flinching in those kinds of movies? And we're talking about the gender that has more sensitive things down there. I mean, does it matter? We have a film filled with vast vehicles hovering on anti-gravity devices (which are theoretically impossible).
