June 26, 2002: I've decided to update this thread to keep all the fan fiction sites links in this first post. Please still add your own links, and I will put them on this post once a month or so. To check for new sites listed, simply look at the last few messages posted I hope this helps make this thread easier and quicker to use.

Fandom Nation: Another large fanfic site.

The Jedi Library: a collection of Star Wars novel information and fanfiction the likes of which has not been seen since the Clone Wars.

Skywalker Journeys: A fanfiction web ring centered around the Skywalker family. Also has a message board

KOTOR Fan Media: Archive for stories from the Knights of the Old Republic games.

Star Wars Interactive Story: Remember those "Chose Your Own Adventure" stories as a kid? Well, this site brings that fun to the GFFA. All the stories are on-going and can be continued by the reader.

The Corellian Embassy: 'Zine fics. Lots of Han and Leia.

Star Wars Chicks: For all our favorite heroines.

FAN-FICTON: Small site, good Wedge fics.

Jedi.net: Another board.

Liz's Fan Fictorium: Basically anything. Mostly OT. And any fandom there is. (no longer updated)

LMS: Star Wars, Luke, Mara and The Phantom Menace: A very good archive. Lots of Luke/Mara stuff.

mad4dos: home to a new and growing fanfiction archive currently mostly JA era but will expand to others as new fics`are submitted (online submission coming soon) for now just pm mad4dos if you want to be added {all types` accepted}.

Off A Bit: Live Journal community for AU SW fan fics.

Soul of the Jedi: a large archive ready to accept fics, an artwork gallery, and message boards. The special part of SOTJ is that registered authors can load their stories to the site immediately... no waiting for site masters to encode and post the stories. The stories are literally posted instantaneously. (Site on de activation)

An Alternate Universe: The Original Obidala 'Shipper site.

ami-padme's Anakin Skywalker Homepage As the name says, everything about Anakin. Contains fanfics, art, essays, polls, and a discussion board.

Ani/Ami Databank: based on the popular thread by the same name, this site features links to all the A/A fics on the boards.

Asyr Seilar Star Wars Fanfic Site: Rouge and Wraith fics.

Liz's Fan Fictorium (going to be up really soon, like this week or next. Right now it's called 'The Luke Mischa Files' and still has fan fiction up.) Basically anything. Mostly OT. And any fandom there is.

Enter the Shadows.... A friend's site that is currently fic-less b/c she's renovating it.

Could we get annotations of what each site has?

Vader's Mask has Vader-sympathetic and -centered stories (all of which take place after the birth of the twins). It also includes good-Anakin AUs in the post-prequel timeline.

Info about my site (the link is in my sig):
All of my alternate universe stories about Anakin Skywalker are there. Most of them are about his Jedi training and early teen years, but he'll be an adult in the next few I write. I have a growing gallery of my fanart, about half are drawings of Anakin, but the rest range from portraits of prequel characters, Luke and Leia, fanart for other fanfics and even the EU characters now.

 

Creative License--hosts unconventional (not mainstream characters or canon universes) fiction. Dedicated to the right to break away from the mold.

There's a very cool site out there for those who love the empire. Can't remeber the address but if you go to MSN and type Imperial Snowtrooper a bunch of result scome up and its one of them.

When I last went it had a brill crossection of a Super Stardestroyer.

There used to be an archive... It was called at first Jedi Journals, but then its name was changed to Temple Library. I think Jaro ran it. Does anyone know if it's still around?

If not, does anyone know if/where there's a complete archived version of Requiem for a Padawan by Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi?

Kenobi Maul, do you mean the Jedi Temple Library? It's still there, but seems to have had several archivists in the meantime, including Jedi Nanai, and, currently, Nellie. Requiem for a Padawan is there in its entirety, as are all the parts of JOWK's current story, and lots of other fics from these boards as well.

Wow, I can't believe this hasn't been updated since September... no wonder it took me so long to find it!

Anyway, there are a couple of new archives that have opened up on the web that I would like to draw your attention to.

Sanctuary
Finally, my home on the web is open! I know, you might not care since I've not even been around the board lately, but not only do I have my completed fic in the archive, but also some artwork and excerpts from other works in progress you cannot find anywhere else. While it's not up at the moment, there's also a Feature Author page in the works, where I'll (obviously) feature authors I particularly like. You can recommend authors for this page through the connected EZboard. Please visit.

Soul of the Jedi
This site belongs to a friend of mine, and she's put a lot of work into this new site. It's really very good, with a large archive ready to accept fics, an artwork gallery, and message boards. As you might be able to tell from the link in my sig, this is my site. I have a growing fanfic archive on the site, with fics from all Star Wars genres and time periods, rated PG-13 and lower. I also archive articles, fanart, and wallpapers.

The Jedi Library
Self-described as "a collection of Star Wars novel information and fanfiction the likes of which has not been seen since the Clone Wars." They take fanfic from all Star Wars genres and time periods, as well, I believe.

If you click on Sites, then Calling of the Ancient scrolls, you come to a different layout. It's easy to navigate once in the site. This is pretty much a Sailor Moon/Star Wars site. Really good stories!
