Inspired by the "Favorite Sith" thread. Think it would be fun if we discussed who our favorite members of the Order are, and why!
Luke Skywalker. When his whole universe was falling apart, he ignored everyone telling him to give up, trusted to the Force for guidance, and saved galactic civilization. More than once.
I’m gonna say Obi-Wan. If I had the Force, I would want to be trained by him. He’s mature, calm, and wise. He’s cool while he maintains his composure. He’s not scared to stand up for what’s right. He’s true to himself, the Jedi and the Force.
Luke though Kelleren Beq intrigues me, he's the only Jedi who can escape from being blasted to smithereens on a speeder while being hounded by Clones
For me, there's only one choice. I'm sure this will surprise everyone who has ever interacted with me on this site: My reasoning is simple: the idea of a purple lightsaber blew me away as a kid. And then George had him beat Sidious in a straight fight in the next movie. Just a great character.
My favorite Jedi is Obi-Wan Kenobi. He was perfect apprentice and was an great master. He survived the Order 66 and was the ideal Jedi according to me. He lived and protected Luke in Tatooine. He trained the next generation of Jedi by training Luke. He was brave and strong. He was the role of God in the prequels and ANH by changing the life of Anikan and the Galactic Empire. He could have killed Anikan, but couldn't. He saved Luke by giving time for him to escape in the Falcon. He was a real brother. He had patience like while the strength of his master
Kelleran Beq would be my top answer, but for behind-the-scenes IRL reasons, so I feel like I should pick another. My problem is that I've got too many to choose from. The biggest names are iconic for a reason, and I can't argue with anybody's reasoning for picking somebody like Obi-Wan, Yoda, or Luke (or heck, even Anakin; he was the greatest Jedi of all time, from a certain point of view). It's just that I adore so many of the "minor" Jedi for specific moments or traits, and some of those outweigh the general greatness of the greats. Qui-Gon, Ahsoka, Plo, Gungi, Kanan and Ezra are all on the shortlist, along with the aforementioned Kelleran. I would've also included Cal on the strength of Jedi: Fallen Order, but then Jedi: Survivor came along and kinda ruined him. Oh well.
Depends on the Day. But its always either Anakin or Obi-Wan. Underrated Secondary option: Oppo Rancisis.
Yoda, followed by Obi-Wan. Mace Windu would be up there, but honestly that's just Samuel L. Jackson's incredible presence.
I forgot Adi Gallia! That's largely thanks to Jedi Power Battles, though. Would've liked seeing more of her in The Clone Wars.
He got his first lines of dialogue in 20 years in Jedi Survivor, though he didn't appear in the flesh (force audio log flashbacks only). Last time he talked was in the Clone Wars microseries
I think any kind of reason is valid I love Ahmed and for now, Kelleran Beq is my favorite. Probably tied with a bunch of others, like Qui-Gon, Ahsoka, Luke, Anakin, Luminara etc etc EDIT:
@Lulu Mars It's amazing how much of an impact he made with such a brief but badass scene. Having him be the saviour of the most talked-about Star Wars character, and the answer to one of the series' most crucial questions, was a genius move, and one that totally blindsided me. It's still my highlight of the whole freakin' year (which really does tell you how much it means to me, considering what's been happening in Ahsoka lately). Can't wait to see more flashbacks. My dream would be a whole episode, just him and Grogu getting safe, joining all the backstory dots.
Master Jedi Luke Skywalker, and it’s not even close. Let me be clear not Jake Skywalker the old miserable hermit that Rian Johnson had in his movie, the real one from the OT.
