Female Terminator cast!

After months of heated speculation on everyone from WWF?s Chynna and Famke Janssen, the role of the female terminator in TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES has been given to Kristanna Loken.

Loken might be known for her work in ABC?s PHILLY, as well as s past role on MORTAL KOMBAT: CONQUEST.

According to the Hollywood Reporter announcement, her official character will be the T-X, facing off against Arnold Schwarzeneggers increasingly obsolete T-800. Shooting begins April 15 in Los Angeles.

Casting her will cure floppiness, if you catch my drift, and I hope you do cause I'm laying it on pretty thick.

 

I think MetallicPea has actually hit on the real idea of why a female terminator.

 

As she goes through the movie, I bet her clothes get skimpier and skimpier...

Is her character still an energy terminator?

 

i have my doubts about it.

1. no james cameron

2. no linda hamilton

3. no edward furlong

it will be very hard for them to make it good without these people. plus arnold is looking really old! anyone see him in collateral damage? he's aging fast! and the end of T2 was wrapped up nicely. it is painful to see them pry it open again for more money.

...but, i'll keep an open mind. it is possible that they could pull it off. (but it would take a miracle)

I was hoping for a Terminatrix that would look like she could actually hurt somebody (ala Linda Hamilton and her impressive physique in T2)... instead, we get Twiggy.
I'm not really expecting much from this film. I think it's almost a tragedy that they're even making it.

 

It's going to be fun watching the "primitive" T-800 fighting the new and improved modal. Silly future people. Don?t they know that Arnold is the best version?

Robert Patrick wasn't a big guy but he sure kicked some butt.

I'm sure she will be tough, and have the ability to love people to death.

 

I liked her in MKC and she'll be good here. At least it isn't Chyna.

It's too bad the T-1000 won't be having an appearance...if Arnold can reappear, why can't any of the others?
