Fern seems to be "one of the four kids who make a mysterious discovery on their home planet and get lost in a dangerous galaxy. Funding their way home will be a greater adventure than they ever imagined." (Taken from the back of a toy box). So, this thread is for all things Fern.
The kids start a bake sale fundraiser in order to purchase parts from a junkyard so they can repair their ship, and also buy a map of the galaxy.
They don't have enough money to get home, and it's up to us, the consumer, to donate $5 each to ensure the rest of the season gets filmed
You sound like politicians texting me every five seconds about how just 5 dollars could get them the win.
That's a brave girl, for sure. She has some cool lines in the first episodes. At the beginning I found her annoying but now I see kind of a leadership potential in her.
You know I think she is definitely gonna be my favorite of the non droid characters edit: by the way where did she get a blaster from
I think she did what a “grown up” kid would do and scouted the ship for weapons to protect the newly made crew instead of playing with pirates hats like the boys did Ehehe… she is the captain no after all she is rising up to the role! I think she may know more than the other kids and there is something with her mum… she spoke about not letting it slip again and the mural in the house looked familiar… I don’t know… we will see but I feel something in her with great potential! And it just dawned on me that these kids could appear as grown up’s in the movies set after the sequels? So we better watch out for them ehhe Great actor BTW but they all seem to be
All the kids are well-illustrated characters but I think Fern might have the most potential for a full arc. She’s introduced as a bully, then we learn her mother is a domineering planetary administrator. She has rivals in the local speeder-gang scene, seems like she wants to start a gang of her own. When things get dicey she naturally assumes the leadership role, and before long she’s the “captain” of a pirate ship. Will be very interesting to see how she resolves difficult decisions going forward, especially with Jude’s character, who Wim will hold in high esteem.
