First screenshots of GTA: San Andreas released.

doesn't look like there's been as big of an improvement in graphics between SA and VC as there was between VC and GTA3. there are only 3 SA screenshots so far though, and they're the cinema style shots that are used for advertising. isn't this exciting?

I'm thinking that this title is taking more of a "Boys in the Hood" direction, judging by the characters and envrionment. Perhaps it'll be more small-time gang war-esque? What do you guys think?

 

I think we can expect cries of "racial stereotyping" and the associated free publicity Rockstar games seem to achieve on every release.

Who cares if the graphics are not mind blowing. As long as the game is still fun to play , that's all that matters. Nice looks are great, but they are not everything.

Bah, Asteroids is still very chic, despite its vector stylee.

I dunno, you can buy a casino in the Las Vegas city.

 

I thought it was set in a Los Angeles-like area?

Anyway, I like what I see so far. I don't care if it's a boys in the hood type game, they've had two based on the mafia and it's time for something fresh.

Edit: Is it still set in the 70s?

 

as far as i know it's set in a multi-city metro area based on LA, Vegas, and whatever other cities. and it's set in present day. the 70's setting was just a rumor from a year ago.
