Oh i forgot the games have minor bugs (cant build a mineing station) and one of them is incomplete(still to be finished).

Oh by the way has anyone unlocked the urber ships in broken mirror yet?

 

I'm flying in a Sovereign, I don't have enough money to buy the Dyson Sphere plans. Broken Mirror is really easy if you play as Terran Independent as nobody will attack you meaning you can colonize every uninhabited planet without any worries.

Anyway if you're talking about the Galaxy-X then no, I did play as Borg once which is kind of pointless as you can't repair your ship

 

I have a Galaxy whith gravametric torpedoes and lance phasers and two ecelsior's as traiders and an intreprid as a back up vessel.

BoW's Tips to sucess

-The key to making money is by going to Vulcan and taking the away team classes
-Then colonize all the different worlds.
-Buy smaller ships to start off and build up. Once you have a strong economy buy space stations and mine astriods in your system.
-Keep several ships in your systems becuase of pirates and rival empires
-Send other ships on trade missions.



I started out with an allined earth officer and currently have 5 planets, 17 stations, 2 excelsor class ships,1 Intrepid, Delphi luaxary ship, 4 constellation tugs, 5 sabres, and a Romulan starbase.

I dont bother most of the time with battle fleets. I just get a galaxy class fill it up with hight tech drop, the earth empire flag, take over a klingon world when an earth empire fleet is attacking and start a traid buisness buying 3 nebulers(sp) 1 akira and 8 ecelsiors as traiders and a small fleet of defiants to defend my traid empire and mining stations while escorting me and 2 ecelsiors to take over weak empires that appear if you leave planets uninhabeted for long enough. And at the end of all this i get an empire that is earning 10,000 lat a month.

 

Actually its best if you don't bother with fleet trading waste of money imo, its better if you build habitat stations and starbases instead which attract way more money.

Anyway I had enough money to buy the dyson sphere plans, after clicking like a mad man for that construction material I finally build one at least in each of my system.

After 5000 days I now earn...well...let just say its a minimal of a 7 digit number

I've tried starting as a Dominion but playing as a bug is near-impossible there is no way to make money through trades and you can't buy the away team training in vulcan :\

 

it should be easy to do it whith the dominion because one small ship can take out a intreprid whithout much trouble (one **** blew me out of the sky when i was in a galaxy once).

 

But you can't make money with destroying ships

 

Yes but they can easly take over planets like lysa or pillage latinum off disabled ships.

You just go on personal stats and click the flag icon to drop it.
