    i discovered these at a staples store. they have the exact lid needed for jedi food capsules. but made of plastic. and they're cheap

    Close... but not quite.

    The proper pen caps have metal clips. Those are one piece plastic ones.

    Certainly usable however, just not "exact".

    they're the same brand. the clip isn't seen when worn anyway

    The hunt just got easier - Staedtler very recently released a new, improved pen with the exact cap that the old one has - only problem is that they are about $10 more per dozen to get.

    I found a source for the pens and am going to order some in - if they are in fact exact then I may look into another small run for friends ;)
