Ok with the various post's we know whos going to be there but after a brief conversation with a security guard at Star City something struck me.

If any of the FFUK'ers are under 18 then meeting in one of the bars isn't going to be possible. I'm looking for your suggestions, Post your thoughts and we'll come to some agreement.

I haven't been to Star City for a while, but I think theres quite a few places there?

The seating is pre-determined cause I remember the guy telling me the seat numbers so we don't necesarily need to queue for too long.
We could presumably meet up downstairs in the main foyer?

Well, it wouldn't really concern me as I'm nearly 26, but I can surely see your point.

I have never been to Star City before, actually, so I wouldn't be able to say where a good place to meet up would be, but I could say that the car park would be a good place to start off with -- everyone is allowed in the car park -- And chances are, we might get our ugly mugs on telly if Central ITV or BBCWM turn up.

I assume that we are all meeting up on May 18th? If so, what time?

Ok, I'm guessing that there's only going to be us mad Star Wars fans and the car thieves around at that time of night, the security guard I spoke to said that they would prefer us to meet, if we have large numbers upstairs, outside the cinema but seeing as there's only going to be half a dozen of us we can play it by ear.

Be careful with your light sabres around Birmingham, you'll get mugged. LOL!

No seriously, I think I'll be getting to the cinema around 10pm.
    Would that seem logical?
My main reason for not going to queue really early is that I know my seats are booked, and that my seat numbers are predetermined.

    Just a couple of points.

If anyone is under 18, they ain't gonna be let into the Midnight showing anyway!!!!

The reserved seats only applies if you're in the Gold Class screen.

The queue had started forming by 22.00 for the AOTC Midnight show.

Last time I checked, it had suprisingly still not sold out.

Has anyone got confirmation of it being shown digitally yet??

Finally, ONLY 2 WEEKS TO GO!!!

Yeah, the drive home is gonna suck, but thankfully I only live at Junction 9, so it's not too far a drive for me! :)

I take u're point Windy but even I was out after midnight before I was 18 and that was so many years ago I can hardly remember. So we're talking 10ish then ?

Are you guys sure that the gold seats are reserved, last time I asked I was told that gold seats weren't reserved but gold seat ticket holders would be guaranteed to see the film.

Anyhow, give us a PM if you want to meet up somewhere specific.

I'm only going by what I've read in posts on here about the Gold Class Screening having reserved numbered seats.

But if you've got tickets for Screen 12 like me, then it's unreserved.
Obviously you're guaranteed a seat if you've bought one, but if you get there too late you're not gonna grab the best ones.

    10pm should be fine though.

I'm pretty sure my gold class seats are reserved by seat number cause I phoned up just to double check my booking, and the guy told me my seat numbers.

Just think what she'll be saying if you happen upon a bunch of wierdo's also arriving so early Dak.

Ok then it's MVC at around 10, knowing my luck I'll get arrested for loitering.

btw whcih of you guys are seeing it gold class and which arent cuz i wud of thought they will be two different queues...im in the normal screen want the atmosphere of being with hundreds of other people who feel the same as me rather than ten or so..plus screen is bigger than goldclass!

I'm going gold, the screen might be bigger but I just couldn't sit in the normal seats with my aches and pains, plus you guys don't want to sit and listen to an old geezer like me moaning about people rustling sweetie wrappers and crisp packets.

    I'm in the normal screen.
I don't think they'll be any of the usual cinema problems with idiots sat talking on phones etc.
Everyone was quiet and respectful once AOTC started 3 years ago.
Screen 12 is on the left hand side of the foyer, so I expect the queue will start just outside the doors there.

Screen 19 has always been my personal favourite. Even though it's exactly the same size as 12.
