    ...he ain't.

    Whoops. ;)

I seem to recall in the gigantic thread that did the roster of what Jedi were involved in the Battle of Geonosis, and who lived and who died (and I'd have posted this there if I could have found the thread... :)) that Tiin got shot down and died, according to one of the WotC sourcebooks or something like that. Well... Hasbro's new line of toys insists that Tiin not only survived, but he fights in the Clone Wars (even if he's a little... battle-scarred ;)). The action-figures ARE canon, yes?

    Um.... discuss. :p

Oh, didn't know that. I just saw the image poste in the Collecting forum, dated like.. 2 days ago, and the image on Hasbro's site was from under a week ago. And since I sifted through the old threads to try and find the old "Battle of Geonosis roster" thread and couldn't find it after going back over 10 pages through the threadlisting, I figured it was "new" news. ;)

Um... could someone direct me to where this was discussed originally, then? Thanks. :)

It's been announced, that he's going to be in the clone wars cartoon, as well as Episode III.

All there is to be said is that rumors of his death have been greatly exaggerated.

LOL, that's exactly what I thought. ;) I didn't know he was confirmed for Ep3, though.
Well, this opens the door to drop him in a Clone Wars fanfic I'd wanted to write, and then had to massively alter once I learned Tiin was "dead". ;)

He was mistakeningly reported dead ("fog of wartime journalism" [face_batting] ), we now know his death to be untrue do to his future appearances.

Click on my user name for a link to the Battle of Geonosis thread down in my bio.

He could have had a Near Death Experience and then been brought back to life, like Luke had in COPL.
