    This is the place to discuss the new Bond game from EA! Its a retro Bond game, with sean connery doing the Bond voice overs!!! It also looks like its gonna have a sweet multiplayer.

    Great. Bond returns to being Bond. :)

    This is gonna play similar to Everything or Nothing, right?

    ^^ Those two sentances make no sense

    It should be awesome, because Connery is the greatest Bond of all.

    ..of course i'll check this out because it's Bond, but......

    It's gonna play like "Everything or Nothing"? I know i'm in the minority, but i hated that one. Much prefer the FPS-style Bond games..

    I think the FPS games have been better, but that may be down, simply, to the fact that they were better anyway, before you account for the style.

    If Everything or Nothing was an FPS and Goldeneye was third-person, Goldeneye would still be better. So give FRWL a chance, it just might blow your mind. 8-}

    Probably not, but give it the chance anyway :p

    The game looks pretty tight and I like the looks of it. I also like the source material as From Russia With Love is one of my favorite Bond films.

    FRWL, I admit, does have a great story line. Hopefully this game will be as good as it looks and sounds.

    3rd Person? Not getting it. I couldn't stand Everything or Nothing. I never really like 3rd person shooters, I'll stick with the FPS.

    it will be best if they enable switching between FPS and TPS like in Battlefront ^^

    The folks at GameTrailers.com have a decent collection of footage, including what looks like a playthrough of the first level. Between those, and various articles from the usual suspects (Gamespot, IGN, et cetera) I think we might have a winner here (as a matter of fact, since the interface is apparently evolved from EoN, I think I'll have to rent that sometime just to get in some play time.
    Right, back to the GT playthrough: at about 1:27 into the video, we see two jetpack troopers taking off as another soldier pulls the tangos' objective inside. This is probably another scripted event, but wouldn't it be cool if really-quick-on-the-draw players were able to kill one or both of the flyboys before they get out of range? Aside from garnering cool points, it also means you don't have to deal with them later. Which makes me wonder how developed the AI - for allies and adversaries alike - is in this game; so far everything I've seen looks about right, but the mind salivates at the idea of a Bond game with AI of the sort boasted of by F.E.A.R.
    Now, there's is just one minor quirk that bothers me: SMGs being fired from the hip. Quite jarring for someone who learned about proper grip from the likes of Rainbow Six, and especially so in contrast to a moment where Bond leans from behind cover and fires it properly - that is, from the shoulder. And there're at least two screenshot in IGN's gallery where Bond is again weilding this sort of weapon properly. To be fair, the hip-firing might only happen when you're trying to shoot and move simultaneously...
