Jaina followed her twin on his adventures in the Yavin wild. She more often than not would prefer to tinker with all things mechanical but he would cajole her into joining his capers. The latest one involved crystal snakes. "You want that thing as a pet? You must be crazy Jace!"

"Ah, Jaina, I can tame it."

"Famous last words." she retorted.

Anakin couldn't be bothered tagging along with them. He'd much rather be in the archives or in the hangar fixing things and making them run better or disassembling defunct droids and putting them back together.

One time he did this with a cleaning droid and it went bonkers doing a wild aerobic dance like an avian about to take off.

Tenel Ka dared the Solos into rappelling down a high promontory near the falls.

Tahiri flatly refused to go along and she greeted them upon their return with a quip:
"Oh, my friends, I'm so pleased you're not dead."

Tenel Ka grinned. "It was fun, Tahiri. You should try it next time."

"No thank you! Anyone want to join me in the refectory for beebleberry tarts?"

"Sure thing."

"Absolutely."

"Anakin, you cannot tell me you enjoyed that." Tahiri said.

"It wasn't my favorite thing to do, frankly. I'd rather picnic near the falls than anything else."

"Is that all you think about, food?"

"Well, not exactly. I think about you quite a lot, too."

Tahiri blushed happily. That was something she had hoped he did because she found herself preoccupied with him unashamedly.

This was so cute and fun! Loved it.

 

It´s always good to see literally "legends" alive and well here in fanfic, since I already gave all my old EU books away to a half-Japanese teen. (But his Japanese mom wrote me a what´s app recently that they want to give them away for they have been sorting out stuff since the Corona virus pandemic began. Ah well, it´s better than to get presents back...)
