Gallinore Gems

Where can I find them and what infomation can you guys tell me about them.

They look like gems but are actually semi-silicon based life forms. Nevertheless, these gems come in every color of the rainbow and are very valuable. One gem is enough to buy a Mon Calamari cruiser. Tenel Ka had a tiara of Gallinorean gems that was an heirloom. It was valuable enough to by seven planets. She took the tiara with her when she returned to the academy, then smashed it. She took one of the gem shards and used it as the focusing crystal for her second lightsaber, making the blade a turquoise one.

 

How much would one gem be worth in credits.

The WotC SW:RCR has a Corellian Corvette valued at 3.5 Million credits new,and the SotG sourcebook has-
Imp Deuce:Not for Sale (likely valued at 145,670,000)
Immobilizer 418 (Interdictor):NfS (likely value 52,240,000)
MonCal MC90: NfS (likely value 131,800,000)

So the gems are worth a fair bit

I've heard of disregarding material values, but that is just ridiculous!

 

At the end of Lightsabers, she acknowledged that she's a blending of two cultures, so she decided to make her lightsaber represent that blending. Thus, her lightsaber has a rancor tooth hilt (Dathomir) and a rainbow gem from Gallinore as the focusing crystal (Hapes). Personally, I don't think she told her grandmother what happened to the tiara.

 

Imagine how different the NJO might be had she donated that money to the NR

 

And they just let her! I mean, did no one have anything to say to her on the destruction of this incredibly valuable artifact?
