General Luke Skywalker?

I heard along the line somewhere that Skywalker became a General in the Alliance. Any truth in this? If so, what or who did he command and where?

 

He became a General shortly after Endor, by fighting in the battle of Milagro.

That's Spanish for "miracle" in case you're wondering.

 

It was post Endor in the official Chronology. He was part of the Alliance's Starfighter core but I imagine their lack of qualified officers put him in fleet and ground troop command as well.

He retired after the bloody destruction of Lord Shadowspawn and Black Hole's forces
