I hope they don't make crappy costumes similiar to the 80s costumes in the cartoon. Since this is a live action film of the cartoon, I'd do what they did for X-men. Make new costumes, but has a bit of the old in it.

Seriously, wouldn't you laugh at the actor who has to constantly wear a deep diving suit all the time because that is what the character wore?

this is great news! i hope it's cool! it would be really cool if they did it with stop/motion animation with toys...cause they have like the coolest gizmo's ever. when im rich and famous i want a GI Joe room where i can like use the grappling hook, the tanks, the jeep's with the rocket launchers

 

I'd love to see what SnakeEyes looks like! He's an AWESOME character.

 

Please god base this movie on the Larry Hama comics and not the cartoon! If this gets of the ground, I will be so happy. It isn't the first time a G.I. Joe movie has been in the works. I seriously hope it is at least a pg-13 as there has to be some military/covert ops style violence. As long as Scarlett is in it, I can't wait. Which actors do you think should play the major characters.

I just hope with all the bullets, lasers, missles, explosions, tanks, aircraft, swords and knives used by both sides that somebody gets shot/killed.

In other words, don't "A-Team" it up.

 

Viggo mortensen should be duke...nuff said.

 

Oh man, there are going to be hot women shooting with super and unique weapons and kicking the crap out of enemies.

One thing I'd like done to it is to make the ammo NOT lasers (which they aren't) but bullets with blue/red tracers built in. Now that'd be cool. Also as close to real as the real armed forces too.

Roadblock- I hope you kiddin, you know what I mean. I'm gonna beat you down untill you bleed!

 

And of course, lasers and missiles will be flying around the battlefield but no one will get killed or even get hurt! Yes, the prefect movie, surely to be recommended by parent associations everywhere!

They might need to change the name of the evil organisation "Cobra" though, otherwise the Cobra Anti Defamation League will protest and say that this film will give rise to anti-cobra sentiments.

Ah, I think it a better site, and funnier if the actors were the toy dolls . So that all you'd see on screen were their hands holding onto the toys as they acted out the scene .

 

I was never a fan of GI-Joe

 

GI JOE definatly had better plots than Transformers.

C'mon... JAckie CHAN as Snake Eyes? Silent and bad-ass is not how I'd describe Jackie Chan...

and that pretty much shoots the pictures budget and it never gets made.

I hope they cast a bunch of unknown or little known actors with the excpetion of a few key roles like they did with X-men, and LOTR. They should go for actors who physcially fit the part and not big names that fill the Poster. It was the search for the next big name actor that killed the BAtman series.

 

See... the issue for Destro is that I don't think he's ever been the "young, hunk" guy like Vin Diesel.

I think he's more in the Ian McKellan in a mask, stately type of guy. He was always the honorable one, after all...

 

I think Jet Li would make a good Quick Kick and Willem Dafoe would make a good Cobra Commander.
