Bloody good showing, if that damn Swiss wasn't so damn likeable I might hold a grudge against him, but congrats to Federer: no one could of touched him out there today.

Word up to the Poo though, he didn't lower his colours by any stretch. He played a great game, still an awesome might out there on court, and I feel he may just have another look in yet in his career, and his battered and weary body might be able to wrench another great string of victory's and possibly go one better in the future.

Word up to the Scud, the Poo, Flip, Mark: You're a great Australian and a true Victorian. Keep it up, I was inspired, win or loss you represented us with passion and earnt from us our pride in you.

I must admit, I never watch the Tennis when it's on, but I did switch over to watch the final and though Poo did a great job and we should all be at the airport to give him the heros welcome he deserves.

 

I watched fellow Victorian-come-German Ralf Schumacher take out the French Grand Prix, rather than the Wimbledon Final, tennis isn't really my thing...besides, Germans are closer to Frenchies than Greeks (Phillipoussis is Greek, get it?). Yeah.

 

Yeah, tennis isn't my thing either, I'm with JE on this one... yay motorsport!

Phillipoussis whould always be called "wild card". You never know if he is going to thrash the opponent or lose in straight sets.
