5 for me. As I said in the episode discussion thread, this was a real mixed bag. It should have been amazing - it is hugely important to the Rebellion story, and it explores more of how Phoenix Squadron is regarded by others in the Rebellion. But all this does is make the dull action even more of a letdown.

I couldn't get into this episode. I really wish I could considering the important events but it just didn't do it for me. It felt like a mixed bag, even dull at times and for some reason left me mostly with the feeling of "Is that it?" There were some good moments, but also moments I didn't care for. This episode could have easily been done without Thrawn in it IMO. His character felt a bit wasted here.

I just can't put my finger on it. It certainly wasn't a bad episode but it just didn't do it for me. I saw a lot of positive reactions in the other thread though and I'm glad many others did enjoy it.

The final moments with the rebel fleet were easily the best part of the episode.

Not a bad episode. Coming off the last few, it wasn't up to that level but enjoyable. Cool to see the Alliance start to form and Gold Leader. The visuals at the end with the Star Destroyers were very good.

I had a laugh at Hera saying "Stay on target".

Man Mothma was not nearly as pretty as the real actresses.

8/10. Nothing really against the episode; just another one of those that I really don't seem myself wanting to rewatch again some other time. I guess it was nice to see Mon Mothma rally the troops and watching them show up at the end. Looks like Cham's ship was among those that showed up, so I wonder if we'll see more of him and Numa in a future episode.

7/10 weak on the dialogue, and Mothma's speech should have been more stirring, but it was decent enough.

Mon Mothma is awesome. I rate it 8/10, mainly because they finally introduce her. I love her to bits, her speech was good, but the ending could have been better. When different rebel cells rallied together on Dantooine (i think), they could have say their rebel cell's name in their comms, and say how happy they are to rally behind mon mothma.
    Like for example:
"This is admiral akbar of the mon calamari resistance, and our people are happy to join you"
"This is phoenix squadron, blah blah blah...., we agree to join your alliance"
Saying something like these as they exit hyperspace. I would rate it higher if they included this

7/10 a real improvement from the hugely disappointing last few episodes. The stronger politics focus, seeing how quickly the empire moves against senators, really good.

Negatives: Ezra, he officially makes every scene worse and sticks out in every episode as just "being there" to make up the numbers.

I haven't rated it yet, however when they went into the Nebula I started getting very sad vibes, for some reason I
I made this spoiler tagged, because we don't know if this happens at some point or not. I felt that Hera was gonna die for some reason, even though she is mentioned during Rogue One

This one wasn't as good as recent ones. I liked how it tied in Mon Mothma to the Ghost so we're getting more meat on the mythos of this era but otherwise ok. I'm not gonna be too harsh due to the points I made however, so 8/10.

8/10. A solid episode in theory but Mothma was totally wasted. This should've been a two parter, with the second part focusing more on the rebellion (instead that was rushed in the last 2 minutes of the episode).

The last time we saw a nebula was in Shadow of Malevolence and it took up about 3 minutes. That was in a three parter. Here, the nebula segment is a bit longer, but it's in an episode with a major SW character and it is a one part story. Take your time, Rebels! And don't devote what should be minor plot beats to half the length of a less than half hour episode!

I liked this episode. One of the best episodes this season. Yeah, it could have definitely been better, but my expectations for the show have been lowered. I'm not the target audience. So I'm trying to be less harsh about an episodic kids show that tries to tell its story in 22 minutes.

Few episodes of the show have been epic for me: the S2 finale, the S1 finale, and the episode in the Temple on Lothal with Ahsoka are my top 3 that other episodes are nowhere near. But of the remainder, I'd say Secret Cargo ranks of one of the best done, IMO.

I agree. The formation of the rebel alliance deserved an episode of its own. The last 2 minutes of this episode made it too easy and too boring. If they did have a second part focusing on the rebellion, then it will strongly portray Mon Mothma as a unifying figure.(they did show that in this episode, her speech, but the effect wasn't strong).

    8/10.

I liked this one but I agree, it needed to be at least two parts. This is where the short runtime hurts the show. It was awesome seeing Mon Mothma again and her interacting with Hera. Along with Governor Pryce, this episode was dominated by awesome female characters.

Very cool seeing Gold Leader and the beginning of the Rebel Alliance.

Really low scores as I thought this was a very solid episode one of my favorites this season
even though I agree that Mon Mothma should of gotten a lot more screen time in the show when she was there she caused more change in the show than the rebels crew has done in their whole show

The end gave me goosebumps to see the fleet arrive. From an entertainment standpoint, definitely a 10. From a story structure point of view, not so favorable. Would have been a great two part arc or even four like TCW used to execute.

Great music from Kiner and the visuals on Rebels get better and better. Bodes well for the future of SW animation. I mean look at this![IMG]

Guess the Empire forgot about a nebula being a potential danger...

Final thought: At the heart of Star Wars is politics, and I think they used that well this episode.

Solid episode. There's been quite a bit of putting pieces together in this second half of the season. In this case, it's cool just to see Thrawn, Mon Mothma, Gold Leader, Dodonna, and Rex all in the mix (however briefly for some), along with the regulars. I also like Skerris making another appearance, and the TIE Defender getting its first onscreen action.

The exchange between Mon Mothma and Hera is a highlight, showing the former in a more casual context than we've previously seen. Another is the somewhat muted tone of the opening, similar to the earlier time Hera powered down the Ghost (Relics of the Old Republic), and to the arrival at the medical station in Always Two There Are. I think the mood of such moments gives a good sense of the cold vastness the characters are in.

    8/10

I agree. I liked seeing Mon Mothma since we've seen Bail but I also thought it'd be parter for a while. I thought oh no way can they finish this in the next ten minutes.
