Greedo dialogue question

Ok, question here...just watched ANH DVD last night, and my sister and I can't agree on what Greedo's first line of dialogue is. I think it's something like, "Oota Goota, Solo?" while she thinks it's "Oota Boota, Solo?" I swear I hear the "g" sound, but then she dug up a recording of that line somewhere on the net, and it does sound like, "Oota Boota", but with a trill...so was there changes made in the DVD to Greedo's dialogue...or can I just not hear right? I guess if I had the movie novelization, that would probably solve it, but I don't.

So I'm asking you guys, what's the real pronunciation of Greedo's first line? Thanks!!

 

Personally I've always thought it to be like what you said, Oota Goota, Solo? but I could be wrong.

 

It's definitely "goota"

but I once had a debate whether it's "Oota" or "Oona"

2ndQuest! What does the CCG card say? (they have E chu ta, so they have to have Oota Goota, Solo! I think my friend once even had that one )

 

CCG says it's with a "g". This I know.

According to Ben Burtt, who created the Huttese langugae for this dialogue (and all the other huttese too) Greedu says:

"Koona t'chuta, Solo?"

Ben Burtt made the Galactic Phrase Book & Travel Guide. Among the Wookiee for "Nice weather, eh?" (Wooo hwa hwa?) and Ewok for "Blessings on your fowl." (Kiney chattu toma yip-yip.) it includes the confrontation between Han and Greedo.
Greedo's first words are "Koona t'chuta, Solo?"

His last are "Uth laynuma. Chespo kutata kreesta krenko, nyakoska!"

I like Oota Goota better

 

So, Greedo says "Koona t'chuta" which when spoken, comes out like "Oota Goota".

I guess it's sort of like our written lanuage. If we wrot lik we talkd, it wood loke somthin lik this.

I also saw the "real dialogue" posted somewhere...but I figured it had to be fake. Guess not. "Oota Goota, Solo?" really sounds nothing like it...meh.

 

A bit off topic but the rodians pull some great lines in the game Battleground. One sounds like "Choke on your wee", that's just damn hilarious

 

It sounds just like "oota goota" to me.
