Once I get a few responses from folks who have assembled Grievous, I will lock this..

I bought the Grievous Unleashed and just assembled it.
Thankfully it was quite easy, unlike IG-88. However, mine is slightly different to the picture on the card back. The card back shows the green saber to his rear, with the blade coming out of the left side of the hilt. On mine the rear hilt is reversed and the only way the blade can be fitted is so it comes out at the right, behind his body. Are they all like this or did I get a variant?

That's how mine is, except the hole in the back saber was too small for the green blade, so I had to switch them.

Edit: But it still looks great.

Sometimes the pictures on the packaging will differ from what they actually put inside it. There's usually a little printed disclaimer that says that too. ;) If I find one today, I'll let you know how mine turns out when I put it together.

i dont know what you guys are talking about

The saber in GG's right hand, holding it behind him. On the back of the card, it shows the saber pointing to the left of him, the hilt rightside up in his hand. On the actual figure, the hilt is upside down in his hand, pointing to the right of him, behind his body.

    At least that's what I gathered. :p

Yes, Acklay has it right. So far I gather that none of the Unleashed Grievous have the rear lightsaber as it is on the card..

Mine's backwards from the picture on the card as well...my guess is they all are, just a prototype shot.

Has anyone found one with a red lightsaber? Mine has a blue and red saber. But the box shows a blue and green one.. very weird. Not going to take it out of it's box, too perfect for that, just wanted to know if anyone else had the same thing.

I put together my Grievous today LAJ, and it's the same as yours. As was said earlier, the pictures are usually prototypes and not necessarily the final product.

A red lightsaber however, that's quite interesting. I'd say it was probably a mistake, but that doesn't make sense since there weren't any red sabers in this wave at all to get them mixed up with during assembly. So it's quite a mystery! :)

My sister and I both got Grievous Unleashed, and they are both the same as you describe yours, LAJ_FETT. I noticed the pegs on the lightsaber blades seemed a bit large for the holes in the hilts on mine, but the hilts were quite flexible and I was able to squeeze the green blade into the hilt in his right hand. As a side note, when I took mine out of the packaging the arm holding the blaster came off at the elbow, but I was able to repair it just by sticking it back in without glue or anything.

I took a minute to check on the blade colors on my GG Unleashed before I open it, and at first I thought one of the was red, but when I moved the package around a little and the light played on it differently, I was able to realize that it was green. I think if you really check it out, ImperialBA, you will find that it really is green in your package as well.

That's what I thought as well. So just to make sure I held it up to the light, and then I put a flashlight on it and it is red. It's to the left of the blue saber. It's weird, very weird...

Speaking of unleashed,I wonder if you guys could help me with this?

I got the Obi-Wan and Anakin unleashed yesterday, and I can't figure out how to attach most of the lava pieces to their bases. I can get one piece on,but the others I'm having trouble with. Does anyone know how to attach them? :)

For one thing, make sure the base is the right side up. The figures work both ways, but I think the lava only works on one side. And just find the tabs in the lava and match them to the holes on the base. For one of them, a tab on the bottom of one goes through a hole in the other piece of lava before going into the hole in the base.

    Confused enough yet? :p
