Gungans

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but do you think the little fishies of the gungan city ever accidentally run into the force field and drop to the ground floppin around?

Then one of the gungans has to go pick it up and throw it back into the sea?

 

Good question. But you probably have to enter with more force that those little fishies can muster.

 

Thanks. Although for a species built to move entirely by propulsion, it's a wonder they'd have any harder a time than the humans did.

 

*Gungan* "Hmmmm... Getting kinda hungry..."

*Whompf*... *Splat* fish lands on floor.

In the movie, though, it looked as though the fields had some elasticity to them before they finally yielded, so possibly the fish are repulsed by the fields when they run into them.

 

What an excellent topic! We need more thought provoking things like this...ive heard enough of the CGI and Jar Jar and blah blah....hahaha i think lucas just didnt think of this, and if you really scrutinize the whole saga, you will find lots of this kind of thing.

 

In the EP1 visual dictionary, it DOES say that the fishes learn NOT to swim too close from accidentally swiming through.
I can't see a gungan throwing BACK a perfectly good fish though...

 

The fish are smart; they know to avoid the city.
