Han Solo in The Clone Wars

What was he doing during the Clone Wars?

 

This is false. Not even confirmed, and hopefully it will never will be.

The idea of seeing Han Solo in animated form normally isn't bad, BUT he's only a teenager in TCW and the idea of a teenage Han is BAD.

I mean, with Boba and Jabba in TCW, anything is possible.

Just to throw my two cents in, I think Han in TCW would be one link with the OT too far. Characters like Jabba and Boba appearing (heck, even Chewbacca) make sense because the PT establishes them as being active and important to the plot around this era, but to shoe-horn in a major character like Han would seem too contrived.

 

That said, we really don't need to see EVERY character from th OT. It makes the universe seem smaller. But I enjoyed Jabba's appearence and I'm sure I'll enjoy Boba's and Bossk's appearences too.

 

As much as I like him, no Han please...especially the way they were thinking of introducing him in ROTS.

 

Yeah. And I'm sure they'd get Harrisson Ford to voice him in a high, childlike tone.

Hmm. Wasn't a young Han Solo originally supposed to appear at Kashyyyk in Revenge of the Sith? Seem to recall reading that on Wookieepedia. And if George does his usual work - that is, reusing crappy old concept arts - then Han is probably inevitable.

Lucky that we have a sensible man like Dave there to (hopefully) stop it. Making Han fight during the Clone Wars somehow... Huh, what do you know? I have no idea whatsoever if that'll mean any continuity issues. Someone'll have to enlighten me.

Oh, and I will NEVER be okay with Han Solo being in The Clone Wars.

EDIT: Well, that's not such a good condition, considering he could make it a cold day on Mustafar.

That's mildly scary, considering that this idea occurred to me in the middle of class today.

I don't know which idea is worse; that I'm beginning to have a mental connection to the JCC or that if I thought of this, Lucas could too.

 

Just to see the reactions from this forum, I would love to see Lucas bring in Han Solo.

 

I would just like to see it just to see how it works. The most I think it should be though is a cameo where we the audience point and go "Hey that's Han!"


That's what I say: just a cameo or nothing at all, but no actual plot that requires him as a main character for the episode. That would be wack.

 

IF they ever decided to put Han in...which I doubt they will, but if they did, it should only be in the way that he is never referred to by name, but perhaps if say a Bounty Hunter is on Corellia to take out a particular target or something and a young Han attempts to pick pocket him and gets reprimanded and warned about "watching what type of people he deals with" and then Han runs off. It would then be up to the audience to decide whether it is truly Han or not, although by design we would suspect it is a young Han.

I want to see SOLO. why not? we could have him on KHASSHYK or something living with Chewie..he knows his family as we saw in the holiday special years ago. MAybe even see the famous scene when he wins the millenium falcon from Lando! Billy dee could do the voice...

 

Solo should be either on Coreillia or in Garris Shrike's band of theieves around this point in time. He didn't meet Chewie until later, but he was more or less raised by one on Shrike's ship. I can't think of her name though. He would be around Boba's age or a little younger around this time.

And if Han did with the Falcon in this series, he'd be winning it at 7-10 years old.

 

You know why Lucas hates the Holiday Special? because he didn't make it. He screwed up by allowing someone else to direct it. That's why he will never accept it. and it's never mentioned how old Han was when he won the falcon.

 

He was in his twenties when he won the Falcon..
