Happy Hanakwanzmas!

Rather than celebrate each holiday seperately, I believe in order to fulfully honor the various cultures that have holy days this time of year, we must embrace a larger view of the holidays. So forget just the Christmas joy, bring on some of that Hanukkah and Kwanzaa joy too! Don't forget, we live in a multi-cultural society, it would be bigoted of us not include all cultures and peoples in our celebrations.

Yes, Tunick! They're onto something with this one! Let's take three meaningful holidays and squash them into one useless holiday with no meaning for anyone! That's the ticket!

Except that apparently Eid didn't count.

 

It's gonna be a while before Eid is celebrated during the holidays.

 

Are you kidding? People start putting up Christmas decorations basically as soon as Halloween is over. November + December in their entirety are the holiday nows. It was November 3rd this year. Oh sure, it's receding back into the fall and summer, but that could just mean more opportunities for the greeting card people. Soon EVERY month will be 'the holidays'!

Hanakwanzmas shall be celebrated on one day & one day only. It wouldn't be fair to people to have the celebrations continue for days on end, for it may offend some people. We can let the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals pick the exact date.
