    Hey everybody,
Has anybody here studied at SAE Institute or know of anybody who has? I've been seriously thinking about whether or not I want to do a course there next year.

    Thanks

yes i know some persons who made several courses
    there.

digital film artist, multimedia producer ...

my personal oppinion, save your money. You will only teached how to press the buttons in right order, but nothing from real interest.
If you have 3d software and can use it, you need no sae. If you don't have, take a look at dv garage, buy your 3d toolkit, learn it by yourself. Make a small project over a year. It will take the same time and save you a lot of money.
    SAE sucks !

I've been there, but their qualifications aren't that well recognised and you don't get an actual fundamental understanding of things. I suggest you try somewhere else, you'll also get more of a university feel (if you're after it).
