Has anyone seen or gotten the Spoon-Saber?

I just got back from Wal-Mart.. I was looking at the cereal Isle and came across a ceriel (forgot which one) but it had as a "prize" a Star Wars Light Saber Spoon in each box (collect all 3). First I have heard or seen such a promotion or product...

 

My buddy at work got one. but when i went, they were all out! (damn, i was mad) but it is really cool. worth the price of a box of cereal.

 

I've got 2 red ones so far.

 

I want those! I need to be a little more attentive next time I'm at the grocery store.

Just look for the Frosted Flakes box with Yoda on it. It's awesome!

 

I got a read one from a box of Apple Jacks with Yoda on the front.

 

I got a red one the other day from Frosted Flakes. I know they are suppose to have Apple Jacks and Fruit Loops with the Saber Spoons later on. Also from what I have seen everyone is getting a red one, so the green and blue one must be hard to get.

 

I got a red one out of a box of Corn Pops. Mace was on the box by the way.

 

I have a blue one from Corn Pops and a red one from Frosted Flakes.

 

Now we need to get the bowls to make a breakfast set.

 

I wonder if red is more common in Frosted Flakes,and blue is more common in Corn Pops? Hmm...

 

no, they're all random, I think an equal amount of all were made.


It'd be cool tho if they have an exclusive purple one at C3 *fingers crossed*

 

I'm going to pick up a box this week. I hope I get a green one, though nobody seems to have found it.

 

What type of quality are we getting with these saber spoons? What type of battery does it use, etc?

i have found everything except for the m&m's and the eggo's , both with fantastic offers

 

I got the red one too, out of some Frosted Flakes. Maybe they worked out a deal with the Sith for new recruits.

 

I looked through the entire cereal section at Wal-Mart and found one box of Apple Jacks in the very back with a Saberspoon inside. I didn't see any other boxes of anything with one inside. I got a red one. As for the quality, it comes in two pieces, both of which are fairly sturdy plastic (though it says the hilt contains metal parts - not to mention the bulb for the light). The hilt piece can't be washed, and it says to only hand wash the other part. The two pieces snap together. I don't see any way to open the hilt to replace the battery, and I didn't see anything written on the box or the bag the Saberspoon was in about what type of battery it uses.

 

Being here in the uk there have not been any promotions like this at all so I am going to buy a box of apple jacks when I go to C3 and bring them home

i'll bet it's a lot like the lightsaber pens that were in cereal boxes for AOTC. the battery is non-replaceable. that seems to be an unfortunate trend in these days of disposable merchandise.

 

Well, it seems that all the Frosted Flakes boxes at the Super Walmart in Pinellas Park, FL have the red one.

My kids are getting sick of frosted flakes. We've been eating them for 3 weeks now.

I think I'll wait for the corn pops to come out. Maybe then I'll find a green or blue.

I think that because this movie is mainly centered around the sith that there will be more red and the green/blue will be tough to find.

We're almost through with our second box of Corn Pops. We got a red and a green one. Soon, we'll be getting more until we find a blue.
