Space Ireland sea creature? Same one we saw in TLJ could have been the one he consistently got milk from for 6 years while on the island. Those two have a unique relationship.
The prologue to @jasonfry's (wonderful) TLJ novelization has old man Luke dream up a reality in which he never left Tatooine and eventually ended up with his childhood friend, Camie. But then he wakes up on Ahch-To and goes about his usual business. It doesn't count, but it's still a neat "what if" moment.
It does make one wonder, did Luke die as a virgin? But what if he did have a wife? That will be revealed in IX. During his academy days he was involved in a romance before she was murdered by Ben. Fueling further why he transformed into his Jake persona.
Covers and solicitations for the next arc of the main Star Wars comic have been teasing Luke possibly starting a relationship with Tula, an Alderaanian character last seen in the "Princess Leia" miniseries (not to be confused with Tula, an entirely different Alderaanian character from the Last of the Jedi book series, or Tulah, a Muun from the Jedi Quest book series, or Toula, the main character of "My Big Fat Greek Wedding").
Luke may have kept the Old Jedi teaching of no romance. We really need some post RotJ but pre-Jake about Luke to learn more about him and his ideologies.
I'm amused but still...I do like serious discussions. This topic is definitely worth a serious discussion.
Oh sure, but running gags are our shtick. On a serious note I am still a Luphra shipper, which seems to have been all but forgotten as SW and Aphra have not crossed over in ages
I would like to think in Luke's post-Endor pre-training temple days where he was just Jedi Knight at large lookin for Jedi stuff on Jedi business he had some time with some lovely sentients. I mean, you can't look for hidden Palpatine arks and going through dusty ruins ALL day, y'know? I don't think he left Tatoonine as a virgin either. I mean, he really wants to go to Toshi Station and pick up some power converters.
